We came through Kayenta and didn't see any other restaurants of note. We ate one meal at Gouldings (lunch) and two meals at the View Restaurant. The chef came to our table to discuss our food allergies and we got great advice. The dinner was very good. Breakfast was a large buffet. And yes, you can travel around after dark.

I stayed at this awesome facility in early April,2018 and tried to camp but 35/45mph winds forced me into the hotel. So no grills at the campsites and the hotel while comfortable and clean with quick access to the restaurant, no cooking facilities. Don’t let the no grill situation keep you from a memorable experience at super facility!
