We choose this based on Trip Advisor reviews as we wanted to be near Bryce Natl park. Stayed May 27-28.Cost $88.50/night for 2 queen beds. It Is not a 4 star property by any stretch . It is very dated , with old carpeting and comforters, window coverings, the bathrooms have been somewhat updated, rooms are very small. Everything worked...

Panguitch is a one-blinking-red-light town. There are a couple of older motels, a grocery store, a gas station, and one or two restaurants. We're not campers and didn't want to pay the premium to stay closer to Bryce, so this was our choice. We stayed in room #1 which is clearly bigger than the other rooms based on reviews and...

My husband and I stayed at the Purple Sage for two nights while visiting Bryce National Park (BNP). The motel's staff was very friendly. Our room was a great value for the $59/night we paid. The room was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was flooded with natural light. It was a bonus to have a flat screen TV...

We had a very restful night at the Purple Sage. The room was very clean and even being right next to a main thoroughfare it was a quiet night. Had a great dinner and then sat out on the porch and watched the sunset.

I read here that Panguich was old and run down, so we were pleasantly surprised. Downtown is almost all original buildings, so they are old, but a lot of effort has gone into restoring them and giving the entire town an Old West theme. Don't miss the little park between two buildings with a covered wagon and wanted posters of...

Panguitch is an old old town - quaint and interesting. The Purple Sage motel fits in with the ambiance of the whole town. But what sets the motel apart is the cleanliness of the rooms, the updated bathroom, flat screen TV in an armoir and the friendliness of the owners. It's not a fancy motel, but the value is good...

We decided to stay in Panguitch for a couple of nights and settled on the Purple Sage Motel. The owner, is very nice and accommodating and the price was great - $59/night at the end of April. It’s an old motel but he’s put in double-paned windows and updated the bathrooms. There’s nothing plush about it but it’s clean, convenient...

My wife and I are still at the start of a learning curve in terms of judging US motel accommodation. We were looking for somewhere reasonably close to the Bryce Canyon National Park and this motel appeared to fit the bill and also appeared to offer the facilities of a small town - viz choice of restaurants etc. The room...

Panguitch, UT is an amazing little town. The Purple Sage Motel is one of its fixtures. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the owners are friendly. The only drawback was that we had to store our food in the frig in the office, so you could see me trotting across the parking lot any time of the...

This motel is the way it used to be. A clean, older motel, walking distance to the downtown area. Luckily the heater worked well because it was a cold night. This was a no frills stay with a comfortable bed, coffee in the morning, and very affordable.
