I am only giving this a one because of it's pretty exterior, beautiful flowers, and the nice room. The review where it says it comes with a fully equipped kitchen is over exaggerating to say the least. Yes, it might have numerous plates glasses and cups however any of the other amenities that you would expect while you were traveling...

This is such a nice spot to relax after a long days trek in nearby Zion Park. The views from the front porch are splendid, especially in the evening sunset. It isn't a strict B and B in the usual sense, but the communal kitchen provides coffee, tea, etc. for you to make your own breakfast, plus they have dedicated...

It's a B&B without the 2nd B - breakfast is pretty much on your own. There is some cold, dry food items in the kitchen, such as tea bags, oatmeal, fruit jam etc, but no one cooks you a warm breakfast, nor is the B&B owner or owners anywhere to be seen the whole time we were there. Guests helped...

Dear BHF1210, Thank you for your very specific feedback about our inn. We do appreciate and share your preference for meeting and interacting with our guests. As you can imagine, there are so many activities available in Zion Canyon and once in a while, such as in your case, we were out in the Canyon entertaining out-of-town friends. As for...

The perfect spot as a home base for your Zion adventures!! 2 Cranes is close to the park so everything is accessible, yet far enough away from the action to appreciate nature. It was so great to have a kitchen to prepare for our hikes. Each room even has your own cabinet!!! It was so convenient!! With the beautiful views...

A few months ago, we found ourselves surrounded by the beauty of Zion National Park. It was a last minute trip and we needed a place to stay. Nestled in Rockville UT is the 2 cranes inn (formerly known as, the rose inn). The ownership had just changed and our hosts, Lisa and Lizette, were in the process of updating...

We enjoyed staying so close to the park at the Rockville Rose Inn. The Inn was very clean, our beds were comfy and we loved the beautiful views from the porch. The books on Utah and games were an added bonus. Internet was great. We would definately recommend this to friends and stay here again.

While not a B&B any longer, the Rockville Rose Inn is a spectacular little find. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy and it is clean. The only negative was that the stove top was not the best and worked sporadically--though that doesn't take away from my 5 star rating. We were with 3 other couples, each of...

We stayed June 2011. Scott the host was extremely helpful and told us about some places off the beaten path. There is quite a bit of interesting history in the area. Scott made us wonderful breakfasts. A side note: this is the only B&B that the host gets up early to make make a remarkable breakfast, the others in the...

We stayed at the Rockville Rose Inn in July of 2011--what a lovely B&B. Scott made us delicious breakfasts and gave us good ideas of where to go in the area. We were there only for a couple of days, so Scott's advice was invaluable. He has been all around Zion and knew the best hikes for us. We had...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
2 Cranes Inn is a contemplative whimsical eco-conscious inn for your Zion Canyon explorations. Set back from the main road, there are four charactered and comfortable bedrooms to offer, each with their own full private bathroom. Three beds are queen-sized, one king, with extra bed options if needed. One room is on the ground floor with easy access. Two Cranes Inn invites guests to relax and mingle in our many common areas, including the lounge, dining area and communal kitchen. The fully-equipped communal kitchen offers guests their own cupboard cabinet for storage and shared space in the refrigerator. Outdoors, guests are welcome to relax on the wrap-around porch and use the large gas grill on the covered back patio. There is a large sandstone-lined fire pit and extensive garden with fruit trees in which to meditate or swing in a hammock. To support and enhance your canyon retreat experience there are no televisions. Our free high-speed wireless internet is available throughout the property should you need to dip back into the digital world during your stay. There is also a digital printer available for guest use. PLEASE NOTE: We are less a typical BnB, and more a "bed and full kitchen!" Learning from our time working as local outfitters and guides, and mindful of the many different food preferences and allergies, we work in a different model and do not offer a prepared breakfast so you can better plan your meals in any way befitting your adventure schedule and eating routines. In our large and fully equipped communal kitchen you will hopefully find all you need, including complimentary fresh-ground coffee, an assortment of teas, a room-specific cupboard for all your shelf-stable items, and a shared refrigerator. There are also a few basic convenient food items available (oat meals, juices, non-dairy milks, snacks) especially helpful if you happen to arrive late. There are also excellent grocery and restaurant options in the nearby town of Springdale, just up the road at the entrance to the national park. The Kolob Elk Room is our spacious and colorful upstairs suite with a queen-sized bed, full private bath, and an extra table and loveseat sitting area. With windows at each end of the room, it offers a bright and open atmosphere. Perfect for stretching out on longer stays. The Red Fox Room is our peaceful upstairs room with a California King bed, full private bath, and northern views. Great for sleeping in. The Dragonfly Room is our sunny upstairs room, with queen-sized bed, full private bath, personal writing desk, and southern views. It overlooks the front lawn with its many fruit trees and offers a view of Eagle Crags. Great for early risers. The Desert Tortoise Room is our sunny downstairs room with queen-sized bed, easy access, and full private bath. The window faces our spacious front lawn and enormous pecan trees. All rooms may be reserved at once for larger gatherings, weddings, holidays, corporate off-sites, or other special events. ... more   less

“Upstairs 1 room with King size bed. 1 room upstairs also has a sitting area with a small table and sofa. All rooms have a comfortable chair. All rooms have windows with views of beautiful surrounding Rock formations. This property is right along the main road so easy to locate. The front lawn is huge so the house is set back from the road and quiet.”
