We own a vacation home in Vail, CO but we will return to Snowbird for the skiing. If you are looking for hard core skiing, insanely deep powder and challenging slopes, then Snowbird is your place to go. Ski your brains out, go to bed, then get up and do it all over again. I highly recommend this hotel if... More

We stayed during April with our two kids. Got one of the two story rooms overlooking the mountain. Beautiful views. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was a little dated, but not unsatisfactory. Bathrooms were normal size and there were two. The kitchen and appliances were fine. We cooked for ourselves most days and didn't really feel... We stayed in one of their studios that slept 8. Yep, 8 people. It was a 2 story room with a loft/balcony overlooking the living area that also enjoyed the same great view of the mountainside. Stunning view-- it was my favorite thing and I couldn't get enough of it. There were 2 queen beds in the loft and a... More

Iron Blosam Lodge is the Best Lodge in Snowbird. We have stayed here over 20 times. It has the best pool and spa and that is important after a hard day of skiing. It's not as pretentious as the cliff lodge and is a great place for kids. It's more family oriented and helps keep everyone focused on skiing.

The previous reviews show some issues, but it is not that bad, I have gone here for 40 yrs and always enjoy being so close to the mountain and having the experience of very few people on the hills except Saturdays. There is a variety of resturants as well. Now the bedroom only units have microwaves. Also the super senior... More

the rooms with mountian views are very noisy. The recycling trucks come at 3:30 every morning and load all of the glass, cans etc for 45 minutes and then the garbage trucks come right after the recycling trucks have left. The rooms are spartan concrete walled rooms with no sound barrier between neighbors. You hear all of the toilets around... More

Like other reviewers have noted, this has all the luxury of your standard motel. Everything is old and hasn't been remodeled in years -- an hour after I spent some time in the room I developed a severe allergic reaction -- likely mold. As soon as I left the room it went away. It's incredibly noisy -- from the early... More

I've been going here for 15 years; my husband for much longer. The snow can be very good when you get some dumps...but we're not always that lucky. We love our two room condo. We usually invite several friends to join us. We deal with the sofa bed by taking the mattress off the sofa and leaving it on the... More

These condos are conveniently located right across from the Wilbere lift. Literally walk out door across street and there you are. We are in a two story loft unit. Great view of mountain, fireplace and all the items you would need for a week in the kitchen. We stopped at grocery before driving up to stock up for week ,... More
