This was a perfect vacation to end the summer with! We were very gratetful to have ended up at Pine Shadows. There was NOTHING else available in the area and Debbie was nice enough to make an exception for our family and we are soooo glad she did!!! The cabin we stayed in was perfectly clean and maintained. I am...

As you open the door to your cabin, the first thing to strike you is the immaculate condition of the interior: the carpet looks new. Three different cabins, the same result. For Debbie and Steve, your friendly hosts, their cabins are a labor of love. We prepare our own meals due to dietary issues, and have found each of their...

This was our second year at Pine Shadows. The setting is beautiful and the cabins are roomy, comfortable, and very well-equipped inside and out. We have been able to take our dog for both stays. We have stayed in several places in the Torrey-Teasdale area. Pine Shadows will always be our first choice!

If you like the call of a bird, the hum of a Humming bird, the scurry of a rabbit, or watching wildlife, then this is the place for you. Quiet, peaceful, with all the comforts of home and none of the Drama.

My sister and I stayed 4 nights with our 2 little dogs. Our cabin was just perfect and exceeded our expectations. The owners are warm, welcoming and most accommodating. We had a delightful time and have recommended Pine Shadow Cabins to numerous friends.

I have stayed at Pine Shadows a number of times. Years ago, I had a wonderful idea. I offered to buy one of the cabins to use whenever I could come down from Salt Lake, and Debbie could rent it out all the rest of the time. She laughed and said that I wasn't the first person to come up...

We have been there many times, and we will continue to go back !!!! It is so quiet and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable and it is great to have a kitchen and a rear porch ....... Even though it is close to Capital Reef National Park, it is still in a private setting. .

I was in the Capitol Reef area for an Arts in the Park event. Deb was great to accommodate my time line needs. The accommodations work well for me. Located at a beautiful spot. It is always clean and cared for.

Every cabin has a front and back entrance, and a covered porch for viewing the rock formations, the Velvet Ridge, cedars, and pinion pines. As the early morning sun changes its position in the sky, one can sit and watch these sandstone mountains turn bright orange, then coral, and finally almost a pure white. The spacious cabins have two queen beds and a television with VCR. Bathrooms have bathtub with shower. A kitchen affords each guest with the option of cooking in or eating out. The kitchen includes sink, range, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, glass table with chairs, and cooking and eating utensils. ... more   less
