My wife and I stayed at this inn for the last part of a New England honeymoon, and we have nothing but good things to say! The room was cozy and the innkeepers were very accommodating. When we made the reservations (months in advance), I had mentioned to the owners that my wife didn't like eggs; and without even having... More

Stephen, thank you for your review. It was a pleasure meeting the two of you, and being able to share a small part of your honeymoon with you. Brattleboro does have quirky shops, which are fun to explore, but tucked around every corner and alley are art galleries that are not to be missed. We look forward to seeing you... More

John and Cindy Becker recently purchased this lovely bed and breakfast in Brattleboro, VT. What a lovely building with white painted brick and slate roof. The grounds are so beautiful with the oldest red maple tree in the world in the back yard! Fountains are so nice and the sound of the trickling water is soothing. Such a relaxing place... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so glad that you enjoyed our Inn. Although the cut-leaf Japanese Maple is unlikely to be the "oldest in the world" it is the largest in North America. As of this writing, it is still full of crimson leafs, extending the leaf-peeping season in New England (at least in our... More

We just had a wonderful stay with John and Cindy and their daughter Libby. They are wonderful hosts at this lovely BnB. They have the most magnificent Japenese Maple (largest in the US) and prepare one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. We look to return in the future to use the pool table and the hot tub!

This is a most beautiful building, styled on a French chateau. The rooms are delightful, with some of the best linen I've ever slept on- and great mattresses. Hosts are friendly and helpful, and their speciality is the three-course breakfast- the best of everything, with great coffee served in individual cafetieres. The formal gardens are a delight, and check out... More

This is a great B & B. John and Cindy are very engaging and go the extra mile. Their breakfasts are some of the best we have had at a B & B recently. It is centrally located within walking distance of Brattleboro downtown. It also offer a hot tub and beautiful backyard setting.

We knew John and Cindy from their previous B+B in New Hampshire and always enjoyed staying there. Their new venture is a work in progress. They have done a wonderful job on the inn itself. It is furnished beautifully. And the breakfasts are the best I've ever had at a B+B. They working hard getting the grounds back to what... More

Beautiful rooms and healthy, tasty breakfasts. John and Cindy (and Libby) were charming hosts, very friendly and helpful, recommendeding nearby sites and history. Our trip to Brattleboro was unplanned, but we're so glad we stopped here to admire the lovely fall colors and sample New England hospitality!

We were two couples visiting New England for the fall foliage and stayed two nights here while in Brattleboro. The Inn changed hands (and names - it is now the Inn on Putney Road) last summer and the new innkeepers, John & Cindy, are doing much to spruce up the grounds and common areas. The inn is set back off... More
