During summer weekends in Burlington, accomodation is extremely difficult to find without reservation. However, we managed to get a room in Howard Street Guest House due to the extreme helpfulnes and hospitality of the hostess. We enjoyed our stay tremendously, and will most definitely stay here again if we return to Burlington.

My husband and I spent UVM graduation weekend at this charming guest suite. It is the lower level of a 2-story converted workshop. Very colorful and comfortable surroundings greeted us. The owner, Andrea, was wonderful and provided coffee, juice, excellent granola and other cereals in the little kitchenette. I wish we had discovered this freshman year!

I recently returned from a 3 night stay in the upper unit. It was a last minute trip - I called that morning and the owner, Andrea, got back to me immediately - and was there to great me upon arrival. The unit is spacious with an urban "beachy" feel and immaculately clean!! The kitchenette was perfect for me and...

My friend and I stayed in the downstairs apartment over Labor Day weekend and agreed that it would make a great place to live, not just stay for a couple of nights! As others have mentioned, the guesthouse is a very thoughtful conversion of a barn-style garage, though you wouldn't really notice that it was a garage from the inside....

We planned to stay 2 days and extended to four - it was that nice and peaceful. We had the downstairs apartment, what a great spot. Wide open floor plan, comfortable furniture, passable TV, but who wants a TV in Burlington? The decor is really fantastic - bright colors, nice and simple. The place was so clean it made me...

The Howard Street Guest House is a SUPER place to stay when in Burlington. It is unique as far as B&B's go because it is not a house, but a converted two-story, detached garage. Each floor is a separate room that has been configured and furnished into a spacious, comfortable and well appointed place to stay. It is located in...

I stayed here while attending a friend's wedding in town, Unfortunately, my wife couldn't join me because of a travel delay, but I enjoyed the room and the town enough that I'm determined to take her back there sometime soon. The room was really open and comfortable, complete with a mini kitchen and fresh coffee. It was also just a...

What an incredible surprise when we opened up the door to this converted garage! The great room included a fully equipped kitchenette, comfortable living room with television and beautiful bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and included a shower. Andrea, the delightful hostess, was there to greet us and explained the features of the room. She...

This is one of my favorite places *ever* to stay. Spacious, comfortable, cheerful, attractive, good location. Loved having the kitchenette, which was stocked with cereal, milk and juice. It was nice to be in a residential neighborhood, yet a short walk to the lake. We enjoyed talking to the Andrea, our host, a lot (and we are not normally very...
