A great B&B right in the center of town. The rooms are really nicely furnished, excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful owners. During my stay there, I lost my wedding ring and diamond engagement ring. Two days later the owner contacted me and let me know he'd found them and gave them to my friend to get back to me! As...

Six of us bicycled to this inn, arriving late on a rainy day. Bob, the Innkeeper greeted us and helped us find places to dry our wet clothes, then suggested dinner options nearby. He even let us put our bikes in his garage for the night. The next morning, he served us a delicious, hearty, breakfast and helped us trouble...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights last week and the stay was excellent. The innkeeper and his wife were quite pleasant our entire stay and very helpful whenever we were looking for activities to do. He had pleasant conversation whenever we talked with him. Our breakfast conversations with him each morning were enjoyable and welcoming. The room...

I stayed at Chester House Inn with my boyfriend for 3 nights to ski Stratton (it's about 35 min from Stratton, but it's a real pretty drive.) The stay was average, at best. I'll start with the postives. Our room was really cozy and cute. It was spacious, had an electric fireplace, and also had a steam shower. We had...

We recently stayed at this lovely in for our anniversary. We booked the Queen Charlotte room and it quite lovely and romantic. The 2-person whirlpool tub was absolutely enormous! Bob, the owner, is quite pleasant, but not overbearing. The breakfast is huge, I could not finish it both mornings that we were there and I hated seeing it go to...

I grew up in Chester, and it is a real pleasure to see that the village has managed to retain its charm and its historic buildings, one of which is the Chester House Inn. When I was a girl, the front of the downstairs of the building was a nice dress shop. My husband and I stayed in one of...

Recently traveled to Vermont to celebrate my anniversary and stood at the Chester House Inn. It was a very warm and inviting B&B. The house and room (stood in the Queen Charlotte room) were charming and intimate. The host was very friendly, attentive and even welcomed us at the door. He was helpful and gave us tips to the tourist...

My sewing friend and I just stayed 2 nights. The room was perfect. They put in 2 long tables so we could sew so we had plenty of room to spread out and sew to our hearts content. The Inn is across the street from one of our favorite quilt shops and 3-4 places to eat. The breakfasts were good...

If you are looking for a quiet getaway to a place where you are made to feel at home, then head to the Chester House Inn. Visit the inn’s website (http://www.chesterhouseinn.com/), and you will notice that the slogan reads, “…where everyone is treated like family.” True to this slogan, innkeepers Jan and Robert Francis go out of their way to...
