Have stayed here for some years now and consider it to be our home in Vermont! Roger and Gay are the nicest couple and they really do run a first class Inn. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Breakfasts to die for! Lots of common rooms to relax in and the wood burning fireplaces make it very cosy. Not your average...

In what was meant to be a bucket list 2 weeks in upper New England during fall foliage, we discovered a perfect B&B in a perfect village and are planning a return visit next year. Squire House is a lovely large country home in an idyllic woodsy setting a mile from charming Dorset village with its country stores, gift shops,...

We have now stayed 3 times at Squire House and each time I fall in love with it all over again. The hosts Roger and Gay cannot be beaten for personal attention to guests and for grace, humour and warmth. We are relative newcomers compared to the other guests we have met there and I completely understand why they all...

Having heard such positive things about Dorset, I thought I would start out there on Friday and Saturday and then make my way to the purpose of my trip to the antiquarian book fair in Brattleboro, Vt. on Sunday morning. I called and reserved a room by phone for two nights at the Squire House. What a wonderful place. Roger...

My husband and I took a 12 night cruise to Italy for our 40th anniversary. We came back to the states via Boston then to Vermont to see our son in a play at the Dorset Playhouse. We are Texans and this was our first trip to Vermont, but it won't be our last. We stayed 2 nights at Squire...

My husband and I have stayed at Squire House more times than anywhere outside of our own home. It has that home-away-from-home quality, if your mother was an immaculate housekeeper with impeccable taste. Easy, comfortable elegance. Lots of welcoming public rooms. Want a quiet read? Flop into a comfy chair in the music room, with a lovely fireplace in winter...

Roger and Gay were the most fantastic host of any BB that we have ever stayed in. Their place is the most lovely place we have ever stayed at. and the surroundings are the most beautiful part of the US we have seen. Their BB is in a restored 2 story mansion on 10 acre's up against the forest in...

Squire House is a tastefully furnished spacious home with warm and welcoming hosts. The grounds are spectacular and well maintained. Breakfast was tasty and graciously served, but not too much to eat. It was far and away the best place we stayed in Vermont.

I surprised my husband with a trip to Vermont for a "Big Birthday" celebration over Memorial Day weekend. I was so fortunate to find Dorset and Squire House for our getaway! From beginning to end, the experience was perfect. Roger and Gay are wonderful hosts with whom we immediately felt comfortable. The setting is relaxed and peaceful, the house beautifully...
