We love this time of year in Vermont, skiing and enjoying the cosy fire. The Northshire provides the perfect spot to relax after a full day of skiing. The rooms are recently renovated in a rustic style and are always clean and comfortable. Large King bed room also includes small refrigerator and microwave. Tim & Kerry provide a well stocked...

Warm reception - newly renovated rooms with all amenities. Make sure you order dinner, preferably in advance. The view is exceptional from any of the rooms. The Mountain Pub has a great selection of liquors.

Adorable cabin-like rooms that are immaculate and very comfortable. All rooms have sliders that lead out to open space with beautiful views. The lounge area is a perfect gathering place to meet other guests or just have an amazing cocktail whipped up by innkeeper Tim. Feels more like a family room than a lounge. Breakfast is not to be missed...

Three adults and three kids, we stayed in three rooms for two nights. The motel is clean and quiet. A bit far out of town - 5-10 minute drive to restaurants. We enjoyed a drink in the VERY well stocked bar one night. If you are looking for a comfortable place to sleep that isn't going to be $$$ this...

Breakfast is always a hit here ... We can't get enough of the homemade blueberry pancakes ... just far enough outside of town to be quite and relaxing and close enough to head into town for dinner or shopping.. Then back for a night cap and some good conversation... Thanks Tina & Dan

It is such a pretty setting that I began to wish I was here in the summer even though we came to ski. The room's rustic decor is tasteful and appropriate. Kerry was so helpful when booking and for telephone questions I had. And Tim was as gracious a host at a bar as I have ever seen. His drink...

This was our third stay at the North Shire Lodge, but our first since their renovations! The rooms are beautifully done with rustic wood furniture and Vermont-themed artwork on the walls. Lots of convenient amenities like a fridge and microwave in each room; bathrooms are also very nicely renovated and the shower was great. The wonderful breakfast is not only...

I honestly don't know where to start! A rustic, homey Vermont-true feel yet newly renovated, clean and fun! Our lodge home - yes each "room" is it's own little house, with full wood interior, including night stands and desk, with refrigerator microwave coffee machine ironing board and iron, etc. A big bonus/surprise was what we called the "throwback fun cabinet"...

This was a great find. The room was so clean, it was spotless. It was decorated really nice, and the mountain view was amazing. I wished we were able to stay longer. Tim and Kerry are absolutely wonderful. Tim gave us some history to some of the artifacts in the pub, and Kerry's homemade granola was awesome! Breakfast was so...

We have stayed here several times and cannot imagine the need to experiment with other places in the Manchester area. The property is old but taken care of. We visited several bedrooms and they appear to have been updated. The bathrooms are older, but functional. Breakfast is good and the dining room is fun and cozy. The property is lovely...
