Stayed for one night and was ok, nothing spectacular Bed was comfortable and check in was reasonable since we walked in without a reservation. Front desk polite and answered our questions. There is a very nice restaurant on the premise, JP Morgan and we had dinner and breakfast there. Our room rate didn't include breakfast but pricing in the restaurant...

We stayed here for my nephew's graduation. I checked in after a late flight and was greeted warmly and with apologies for the road construction outside the hotel. They made sure to put me in a room away from the street so that I could get a good sleep. The hotel is located in the middle of Montpelier and is...

Loved this hotel. Warm welcome at the train station & quick shuttle to the hotel. Large room suite with views of the capital & downtown. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful & answer questions or give directions. Great location, very comfortable & quiet room & the most complex shower head ever. We still loved it. Two days...

We went for a weekend to leave our daugther in the V Fine Arts College. The hotel is located in the middle of town walking distance to everything worth seeing in Montpelier. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff very nice. They have the best restaurant in town J Morgan's Steakhose.

It's a long drive up north for we that work in the Southern part of the state, so if we can combine meetings at the capitol, we stay at the Cap.Plaza..NICE people, clean rooms, everything you need!!!!

We stayed here the night before an Open House at Norwich University. We arrived about 9 pm on a Friday night with sleet and snow on the ground and were greeted with a friendly front desk. The smell from the Steakhouse in the lobby was amazing. Unfortunately we didn't not have time to eat there. My 17 year old ordered...

Dear Jcb264, What an exciting time for you and your son! Norwich is a wonderful university. We are glad you enjoyed your stay after enduring a difficult snowy drive. Too bad your son didn't visit campus during the unseasonably, warm days of February. Our owner is a proud Alumnus of Norwich and we enjoy hosting the many Norwich families during...

We recently attended the Green Mountain Film Festival in Montpelier and booked a room at the Capitol Plaza for the night. It's an older hotel, but it has been meticulously maintained and renovated. Rooms are no frills, but the small details were very welcome. Room was clean, and the beds were comfortable (especially loved the pillows). Here are some of...

This hotel seems like it had just gotten a make over , every thing seemed new. We liked our room and the staff seemed really nice but only stayed one night . I would stay here again if ever in the area it's easy to get to and is a nice central location for downtown with plenty of free parking.

Montpelier is small so there's just not anything spectacular when it coming to near by hotels. this will be the best you find. rooms aren't the super, kinda small, and things are somewhat dated. but at least there's room service and the restaurant is the best part. J Morgan's is awesome! small conference rooms that are to close to the...

The only real hotel in town. Very nice staff, very friendly and helpful. We had a queen-bed room facing the street. Nice view of streetscape. Relatively quiet too. Room not small but not large either. Nice bath. Very clean. Four windows looking out. Bed was not soft, but not too hard either. No closet. Had a bureau with a short...
