Stranded in VT without cell phone reception, we aimlessly and desperately drove for hours in the dark country road towards what we hoped to be Montpelier (there must be a hotel in the capital of the state!) as we had gotten a late start traveling from Canada to our hopeful destination of Rhode Island. ASA getting any cell reception, we...

This is an excellent place to stay. We chose the Comfort Inn at Maplewood based on reviews on this site and, once again, the Trip Advisor reviewers got it right. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, the room comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful. The lobby is nicely decorated and spacious. The breakfast is excellent and the...

Over all experience was exceptional. Staff was friendly and extremely accomadating. Close to Montpelier downtown and also Barre. Reception was great at the desk, house cleaning great and breakfast team friendly and extremely pleasant. Will definitely return. Only draw back was air conditioning which was extremely powerful and hard to control. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Even have taken precautions...

Arrived after driving from Toronto. Lovely hotel. Service second to none. We have stayed at lots of different hotels and on this trip , from expensive to budget. This is one of the best. Complimentary wi if, breakfast and weather okay. Bottled water in the room. Enjoy staying here.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, well maintained room and overall facility. Bed was quite comfortable. Very friendly, courteous staff. Nice continental breakfast with great staff assistance helping guests find what they need. Convenient to both Montpelier - we toured the state capitol - and Barre - where we toured a nearby granite quarry (Rock of Ages) one of the largest there is,...

Stayed here one night on a tour of New England with my family. Since we are from Tennessee, and we drove to New England, we had lots of luggage. They have no elevator here! This makes for a very tired group of people carrying ALL their luggage up the stairs at 10:00 pm at night. It's only one flight, but...

So,maybe being the smallest state capital in the US, Montpelier is not a hotspot for tourists. It's really more of a large town and it didn't augur well when we stopped to enquire about hotel accommodation and were asked, 'which one are you after, the dear one or the cheap one ? ' Fortunately ,just a few miles outside lies...

Stayed here one night in July while on a New England exploration trip with my 15 year old grandson. An hour after checking out, I received a call from the front desk telling me my wallet had been found in the parking lot by one of the maintenance men . What could have been a total disaster involved only a...

Beautiful and clean hotel. The place we usually stay at in Waterbury was not available so we opted for this place. Excellent choice. Conveniently near the interstate (however, our room was on the side of the adjacent road and we could hear traffic). Don't let the funky entrance between an Applebee's and a gas station make you question your choice....
