We had a wonderful stay at the High Hill Inn. I stayed in the loft on the third floor. The room was spacious with a desk, dresser, and armoire in one area, and the queen size bed in another step down area of the room. The space was quiet and peaceful, and there was a great view of the mountains...

We loved the rural setting of this inn which is just a 10-minute drive into the heart of Montpelier. It was a great place to stay with horses, chickens and goats being raised. We had the King Mountain View room which lived up to its name--very lbright and spacious. During the three nights we were there, the jacuzzi wasn't working...

High Hill Inn was just perfect for our needs during our 3-day stay in Montpelier, VT. With everything to do from visiting historic Montpelier, hiking around Stowe, taking local brewery tours or grabbing an ice cream from the Ben & Jerry's factory in nearby Waterbury, High Hill Inn was perfect to come back home to. Offering great mountain views and...

The owners were extremely welcoming and kind and served a great organic breakfast. The room had a great view and was clean and comfortable. Being only a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Montpelier, the High Hill Inn was in a beautiful, convenient location.

A beautiful country B&B that overlooks the valley in the foreground and distant mountains. Although seeing the signs to get here from Montpellier was a bit tricky, once we arrived we enjoyed the quiet and beautiful scenery. The breakfast was delicious and made with quality organic ingredients where ever possible.

We stayed at High Hill in July, and it was such a treat. The property is tucked away from downtown Montpelier, with amazing views from the house and rooms. Joe and Ann-Marie were welcoming and provided snacks on our arrival, in addition to great advice on what to see and where to eat around the area. The room was spacious...

I stayed at the High Hill in in late June. This B and B is the perfect place to stay in the Capital Region. It is close to town but set up in the hills so that you can enjoy the stunning scenery. I spent some time relaxing on the deck watching the horses and looking out over the mountains....

We are making the High Hill Inn our permanent destination in Montpelier. Joe and Ann Marie are excellent inn keepers, more like host and hostess extraordinaire. The Inn is situated on a gorgeous piece of property with the feeling of being miles away from everywhere and yet VERY close to all this area has to offer. Breakfasts are delicious and...
