All that a bed & breakfast should be. Philip and Ellen made you feel like family. Beautiful home, great price, clean and breakfast was top notch to boot! Beds were comfortable, our private bath/shower neat and clean. Definitely the place to stay!

Our stay at the inn was very warm and welcoming. Ellen and Phil have a very charming home that was so warm and welcoming, it was like staying with family. location was a gateway to the mountains and resorts in the surrounding counties. The host and hostess were exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast conversation was far reaching and extremely interesting meeting people from all over the world. Breakfast fare was homemade jams, home baked goods and delicious local products.

Ellen and Phil were excellent hosts, made you feel at home. The breakfast was to die for, fresh fruit, jam, bacon, maple cream, pancakes, OJ, coffee, tea. It is located in a beautiful original farmhouse in a quiet street in town. It was beautifully decorated for christmas. The wi-fi didn't really reach our rooms but it was no big deal.

We were exploring the area and saw the cinema in town so thought we would look for a place to stay and stumbled upon Ellen and Philip's lovely little B&B very near town. We were welcomed, and shown our room and left to our own devices, which to us is key. They are incredibly warm and welcoming people without being... More

The Village Victorian was absolutely beautiful. I arranged a stay at this B&B for a work conference I would be attending with two of my directors. I looked into all other Inn's and B&B, however others were either too expensive or too far away to our conference site and none of the other accommodations were as warm and inviting as... More

Ellen and Philip are great hosts, very helpful, friendly, service oriented and professional. The room and house are beautiful, very clean, cosy and the location is great. We ended up sitting at the breakfast table for more than three hours, talking with fellow guests. Very cool experience! Breakfast was delicious with local products. A little more variety with eggs and... More

Ellen and Philip are proud of their B and B. They are very attentive to their guests' wishes. Our room was lovely, quite large, clean and with a view over the gardens. The 'family' breakfast was a novelty to us but we enjoyed conversing with other guests. Ellen and Philip's breakfasts were extensive and each day they prided themselves in... More
