Had the privileged of spending one night at the last minute on a business trip with Ellen and Philip. Felt like I was staying at home. Would highly recommend them for business or pleasure in the area.

That's one of our goals, Scott... to make people feel at home.. kind of just relax, unwind and have a great time. Glad it worked for you....hope you find your way back here on business (or pleasure) again soon. philip

Clean, comfortable room, except bathroom was not en suite. Very good breakfast in spite of no eggs for two mornings. Convenient walking distance to several restaurants. Strange parking for more than two cars. Narrow stairway for large suitcase. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Preferred lodging in Stowe, but was either full or too expensive. This room was a little pricey....

Thank you for the nice review. Sorry about the eggs. It's the "Vermont Tourist" thing... everybody seems to just want Maple Syrup on some Waffles, Pancakes or French Toast! We do eggs .. but usually on request for folks with dietary issues and/or preferences... apologize for not covering that with you. Another thought... although we love what booking.com does for...

We have stayed here 3 times and feel very welcome every time. The rooms are very comfortable and there is a nice area downstairs where you can sit and relax if you want. The breakfast is always good. Phil and Ellen are great hosts.

My oldest will be attending Johnson state this fall. We stayed with Phil and Ellen for freshman orientation. I highly recommend this B&B! They were so helpful as we wanted to explore the area where my son would be living his first time away from home. Great location and lovely hosts!

I was in the area on business for 3 days and my wife came along as a little work/getaway as she can work of her laptop. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Hosts Ellen and Philip were very nice and took good care of my wife while I was at work. She is gluten free and they made a delicious breakfast...

Once again came to town to visit relatives and just had one night to spend. We tried a different room this time and weren't disappointed. As always, breakfast was a treat and conversation was great. Thank you again, Ellen and Philip!

We spent four nights here, booking the 3rd floor suite, which was a huge bedroom/sitting area with another smaller bedroom and a large bath with Jacuzzi. Our hosts were wonderful, and we enjoyed visiting with them and with the other guests at the scrumptious breakfast that Philip prepared. We felt very pampered during our stay. Downtown and a nice restaurant...

We Stayed here for the 4th and it was a fantastic place for us. Very quiet. Near everything. Phil and Ellen could not have been better hosts. I've paid more in the area, although The Village Victorian was much nicer. Privet bathroom, robes and a cot in the room if you had a child with you. Very nice and highly...

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. Phil and Ellen are remarkable hosts and maintain a gorgeous, welcoming home. The house, its gardens and the town are welcoming and are the appropriate setting for both couples and families. The Village Victorian Inn is a wonderful getaway for all seasons; we look forward to returning soon.

Philip and Ellen are delightful B&B hosts. Genuine and caring. The breakfasts were superb, the area beautiful and Ellen gave us directions to the waterfall, gorge, and covered bridges. Their place is close to Stowe. Close to Ben & Jerry's. Not far from Burlington. Everything was a gorgeous drive. Thank you, Village Victorian. Perfect Vermont trip!
