Beautiful campground overlooking lake Champlain. Sites are very well groomed and nice size. Very friendly, there are activities , if you are a golfer great golf course right there. Not fat to Burlington vt. Would go back again.

We visited Apple Island Campground in August of 2016. We visited in our 35 foot motor home. The reservation process was excellent. They were very professional and polite. The campsites were very large and ours was particularly so. The bath and shower rooms were exceptional, new and very clean, some with nice views of Lake Champlain. The pool was very...

We spent 3 days (2 nights) at the campsite (early August 2016) and we enjoyed our visit. The only negative for us: the water point was far enough (when you're on tent sites) when you have to do the dishes or prepare food. If not, the site is very clean (toilet and shower also), and the staff is friendly and...

I wanted a place by the water that wasn't a hotel, so I looked on TripAdvisor and found this place. We rented a trailer that had central air, kitchen with a stove and fridge, cable TV, with one bedroom. It also had a deck with some chairs and a table to sit out at. It was a stationary trailer so...

We (4 adults and 6 young children) rented a pontoon boat for the day, expecting to pay $320 (+tax and gas) and ended up paying close to $600. The guy working wasn't the friendliest, but whatever. The boat was very nice and we had a really fun day out on the lake. But then when we returned to the marina,...

We were visiting Burlington to visit the college but didn't want to stay in the hotels near campus so we decided to camp instead. Due to weather concerns, we opted for a bare bones cabin and it was perfect. We had 2 bunks and a queen in the cabin in an area surrounded by campers, RVs, and tent camping. The...

We camped here for 3 nights with our 23 ft trailer. We had full hook ups, and a beautiful campsite. The place is spotless, they pick up trash every morning, the general store has AWESOME hoagies and a decent beer/wine selection, and the staff is friendly. It is a little pricier than we typically spend on our trips, and, as...

Our first night was just overnight on June 27, 2016. A family next to us said too bad we won't be there for July 2 as the campground has a terrific display. I tell you this because at the last minute we needed a place for July 2 and we hadn't made a reservation at Apple Island for that day...

This is a large, expansive park with hard-pack lots that can accommodate any size rig. Because of the numerous hardwood shade trees, choosing the right lot is important if you have a satellite dish but the staff will help you. The amenities are top notch with a on-campus golf course, heated swimming pool, and hot tub. The park also has...

We are on a 40 day RV trip through New England. This place fit the bill for visiting Burlington and the islands. We spent one day at the Church Street Marketplace in Burlington, ate at The Farmhouse restaurant which has a huge beer selection, and took a boat tour on the Northern Lights boat and took a tour of the...
