We recently satyed at Ayberge de Stowe. We found the owners to be very freindly and warm. The food at breakfast was very good. I would have to agree with some of the previous reviews though that the upkeep is not the best. From what I could see there is paint chipping off from a large portion of the building....

Thanks for your helpful review about the Auberge. We remember these folks when they came through earlier this summer, and we had a nice time meeting and chatting with them. Thank you also for characterizing us as "friendly and warm." That means a lot to us, because we're genuinely interested in who are guests are, what their needs are when...

Auberge De Stowe was very disappointing. On a return trip back to Stowe for the third time, my significant other and I had arrived near the end of July to this B&B we had never been to before. Check in time was 3:30. Fortunately, the innkeeper was at the B&B & attended to us after we rang a bell to...

First we would like to apologize for the hair tie found on the floor; we can understand this leading to the impression of lack of attention to detail. We will be more diligent. We can shed light on most of the other details of the review by sharing our chosen approach to innkeeping: Our goal is to offer the Stowe...

Auberge de Stowe is a charming B & B with a very friendly owner (Chantelle). We stayed here in mid-June as part of an eight day self-drive tour of New England. Our room was nice, clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was continental, but more than adequate. There is a comfortable lounge with TV and your Host is charming...

This is a wonderful family run B&B just a short walk to the heart of the village of Stowe. Furnishings are comfortably modest. Rooms are clean. Food is tasty and nourishing; different every morning. It's like going to a friends house in the country; relaxed and casual. If you're expecting lavish and over the top, this is not the place...

We'd like to acknowledge the accuracy and honesty of this review. Most times, B&B owners use this space to respond to a complaint, but in this case, the guest captured our inn wonderfully. Words like "modest," "relaxed," and "casual" reflect what folks will find at the Auberge. It's nice to know we're on the right track, and we'll keep trying...

My Boyfriend and I recently stayed here and it was affordable for the area and provided everything we needed. The auberge is almost kind of retro with the VHS tape options and the TV with the antennas but it creates a nostalgic rustic vibe. We really enjoyed our stay here, Chantal the Innkeeper is informative and kind. I would totally...

Comfortable and cozy. Definitely a terrific value. We are Vermonters who stayed for a weekend after a private wedding ceremony in our home Church. A min-honeymoon (mini-moon) for us. Shawn and Chantal were gracious, friendly hosts, making us feel like guests in their private home. They even left us a little wedding gift. Breakfasts are good -- somewhere between continental...

We just stayed at the Auberge in Stowe VT. This is our sixth visit with them. Our delightful innkeepers have become dear friends. They are kind and extremely knowledgable about the best restaurants and night clubs that Stowe has to offer. Since they are excellent skiers, they are able to offer tips regarding where to ski. Some of our favorite...

Shawn & Chantal made us feel right at home . We had great breakfasts and a wonderful fondue dinner. They told us about some great places to cross country ski off the beaten path. Auberge de Stowe is a very good value. We would stay there again our next time to Stowe.

We stayed here on the weekend before Christmas after reading the great reviews on Tripadvisor. Auberge de Stowe is perfect for those looking for a comfortable homely place to stay. Shawn and Chantal were incredibly welcoming and really went out there way to help us. The breakfast is great and filling before a long day on the slopes and the...

We stayed in january 2012 at this B&B. We liked the welcoming feeling of the place. The breakfast were included and very good, we liked to talk with our host and we got good advice from her. We also appreciated the outdoor spa after a day of ski! Great quality price, would return again!
