Ok for a budget hotel for a ski trip with friends. Not a romantic get away by any means. Below the stands for the wife and kids. Very old room but generally clean. Very close to the slopes and restaurants at Stratton Mountain.

We stayed for a quick weekend and the hotel fit our needs perfectly as it was priced right. The main issue was the exit door and every room door SLAMS. I can still hear the ringing in my ears from these loud door slams. Our room was at the end of the hall by an exit door which was constantly...

Hotel was adequate. It did its job for the price we paid. However, the mornings were awful! Slamming doors (both exit and individual rooms) was constant. Fix the exit door please! Not only that, but the cleaning staff was loud and obnoxious beginning at 8am. For those that are late risers you will not get sleep!!! Will not go back...

PROS: Frequent shuttle service to village, restaurant on site with bar and continental breakfast included) or reasonable hot breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, nice staff at front desk. CONS: Some rooms require multiple stairs/long walks without elevator when lugging your own bags, this is not a full service hotel. Not enough hooks or shelves for ski equipment. Lobby is nice, would...

We made a last minute decision to head up to Stratton for Christmas day skiing, arriving the night before. On arrival, they upgraded us into a two bed room which came with a Continental breakfast. It was all fine, but nothing great. The location is fine: about 1/4 mile from the base of the hill with a shuttle bus running...

Get a room.on 2 or 3! Clean, spacious rooms with a view of the mountains and Bromley, we got adjoining. Nice updated bathrooms, good showers, very nice toiletries! Also good beds. Décor clean, new but a bit plain, and clearly intended to survive families with littles, parties of college students, etc. We also ate at their restaurant and found it...

We recently stayed at the black bear lodge for a wedding. The hotel was nice, nice sitting area with fireplace when u walked in. Our was very small but that didn't matter because we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Breakfast the next morning was very basic nothing thing fancy. Overall we had a great stay.
