The Lodge is a good value for the price. The room was clean, quiet and simple. If you look at the lodge as an Econo Lodge or Motel 6, you will be fine. This is not an Inn, that is why you are not paying the high price. We found the mattress to be firm which we like. We found...

My husband and I found Sugar Lodge about 8 years ago and have returned from New Jersey every year since. The location is "as good as it gets" if your'e not slopeside (and paying the price for that) and the accommodations are comfortable and clean. We enjoy our routine of "up early for a continental breakfast - head to the...

We made reservations for friends who were coming to stay in the area with their teenager/young adults for a few nights. They enjoyed their rooms, the food and the hot tub. The location was perfect and our friends mentioned they would stay there again when they are in the area. Oh, they had cell service too which is a plus...

I booked two nights in the "Queen Suite" at the Sugar Lodge. The "separate" bedroom in the suite was about the size of the bed. The place was very clean, and like other reviews have stated, the staff is not very welcoming. Never once was there a fire in the great room. The check in desk faces the great room...

First the good - we came to snowboard and the location of the hotel was close to Sugarbush and not bad of a driving distance to a couple of surrounding communities. The rooms were clean and yay, they had a hot tub, which was needed after a long drive. But now the ugly - it turns out that Sugar Lodge...

If you try this search in Google today Oct., 28, 2009, “sugarbush ski and stay”. The first organic URL listing: http://www.sugarlodge.com/SugarbushSkiPackages.htm You will find that the midweek ski & stay rate is $79.00 per person/per night. That includes lift ticket, breakfast, and shuttle. But if you call to make the reservation they say, sorry those are last year's rates. This...

There must have been some mis-communication with Kathleen. We did have a $79 per person/per night Ski and Stay package available that she could have reserved in October. Our Ski the Valley package which included an interchangable lift ticket between Sugarbush and Mad River Glen is only $79. The rate however is only available for midweek stays and is based...

The lodge is overpriced. They lied on their website about the price they actually charge. Also the rooms are out of date and I am not sure where they got the picture on their website because the room I stayed in looked like it came out of a budget motel. The bathroom did not function, the fan was noisy, the...

We stayed at Sugar Lodge at Sugarbush for a recent family reunion. We stayed in the Queen Suite. Yes, the TV is older and the furniture is an older style, but the price of this hotel is not a Four Seasons price. I feel we got good quality for a decent price. And this hotel is clean. I am not...

We stayed at the Sugar Lodge for a ski week at Sugarbush and have every intention of returning. After an exhausted search of all the area accomodations we thought this would be the best bet for the money and we were dead on. We actually spent a night in a regular room before spending the rest of our stay in...

Just spent a long weekend at Sugarlodge. Two couples and two rooms. Both rooms were outdated, but very clean and kept up nicely. Staff was nice and helpful. Extremely close to mountain, less than 5 minutes back and forth, we did not use the shuttle. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but they had fresh bagels/pasteries and fresh oj/coffee every morning. It...
