The first thing I will say is that this was the cleanest place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. It was also my fist time staying at a B&B and I will never stay at another. It was far beyond all of my expectations. I was looking for a romantic getaway for my 1 year anniversary with my...

For years we have been staying at the Sugartree in Warren Vermont. Now with Graham and Maxine, good friends, it is better every time! Fabulous breakfasts, wonderful rooms, delicious beds, and the great hot tub. Each time we feel we have renewed our spirits. And incidentally, the skiing at Mad River Glen is wonderful! We also meet lovely people, and...

A perfect spot for a ski weekend getaway. The host was welcoming, charming and helpful. The room was very clean and bright and the bed very comfortable (we stayed in the Robin room that has a great mountain view). We had our own portable DVD player and an interesting selection of DVDs to choose from which was quite cool. Healthy...

My boyfriend and I stayed here when we went skiing and loved the place so much we had to write a review. Graham and Maxine were the most hospitable innkeepers- they were extremely helpful, friendly, and have a fantastic place. The have created a wonderful atmosphere that is filled with warmth and comfort. The bed was super comfortable and with...

A friend and I recently stayed at the Sugartree for 3 nights, and it was a delight. You couldn't find friendlier and more helpful hosts than Graham and Maxine (and their adorable Labradoodle, Beckham). The room we stayed in was so cozy and spacious - featherbeds, a gas fireplace - it was perfect. One of the standouts was the breakfast,...

Great location! You’re so close to the mountain it’s so convenient. There is even a free shuttle to take to the mountain. Inn keepers were wonderful and very accommodating. The place was very clean and cozy. It’s a nice place to go and relax after a hard day of skiing. We stayed in a room on the third floor -...

We had a wonderful stay at the Sugartree Inn over President's weekend. Graham and Maxine provide a delicious, bountiful breakfast, relaxing hot tub and heavenly feather beds! We were delighted with the close proximity and shuttle bus service to the mountain. We thought the B&B was very comfortable and relaxing after a day of skiing. I would highly recommend the...

I see all the great reviews and thought others might relate to what I look for in a Bed & Breakfast. I am what you might call a "high maintenance" traveler. I don't like crowds and noisy places. I found myself looking for alternatives to the noisy, thin walled, poorly maintained condo scene. Graham and Maxine's place is an answer...

This British couple, Maxine and Graham, have created a wonderfully warm atmosphere, grounded in exceptional and genuine caring for their guests. Maxine's breakfasts are unique and delicious -- the best we've experienced at a B&B ,or elsewhere for that matter. The surroundings are fun -- spiced by the memorabilia from Maxine's career in British soccer and golf. The inn has...

Our experience at the Sugartree Inn was absolutely fantastic!! The whole show is ran by the charming British couple who own the house. Graham and Maxine go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Mad River Valley is gorgeous and the inn is literally only a couple of minutes from the mountains lifts. The house itself...
