Our visit was for three nights. Felt very welcome. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was very good and had a lot of choices and daily specials. Location was convenient as we could walk to the nice restaurants on Main St. Waterbury is located on a hill, so most walking was up and down a grade. We had room #11, above the...

We love the Old Stagecoach Inn because of the way the Innkeepers take care of us. We have brought both our mothers and children to the Inn, and received very generous accommodations for every need including food allergen sensitivity. The breakfasts are the finest we have ever had, and prepare us for touring the great attractions of Northern Vermont -...

We stayed here for 1 night while visiting New England. The Inn is located on the Main Street, close to the restaurants and bars. The Inn was very nice and the breakfast was tasty. What let the experience down was the dirty linen on the beds and the dusty room (no. 4).

I booked this inn because it looked cozy and traditional. when we pulled up to the inn it didnt look too bad and the hostess greeted us outside. Inside there was a parrot in a cage which i wasnt too keen on and a dog barking and running around. I noticed a lot of creepy paintings on the wall of...

We really loved this place. It was a bit like staying in a Victorian Museum, in that there was so much to see wherever you looked. And yet, the rooms were comfortable and had every convenience. We were able to get a large family room that had a queen bed and two twins, so that was perfect for our family...

We stayed here on a weekend of local pub sampling. The inn is within walking distance of the downtown area with five good pubs and a great beer store. The inn was comfortable and welcoming with a small pub of its own on the main floor. Rooms at the center or the back are quieter, as the inn is on...

First time we have ever stayed in a B&B and it wasn't a good experience. I'm hoping it was just this place. Person who checked us in wasn't friendly at all. We were on the third floor, nice big room, queen bed and two twins. No central air, which we didn't necessarily expect, but the one air conditioner had to...

We have stayed at many B&Bs and were surprised by some differences at this one, as another reviewer said, it was more like an inn/hotel than a B&B as it's categorized. When we checked in, an older gentleman confirmed our reservation in a penciled in book and had us fill out a card with our info - nothing wrong with...

Recently stayed during our first visit to Vermont. Booked the Stagecoach based on location and local places we planned to check out, plus the fair reviews on here. The possible haunting steered my wife into confirming (no we didn't see any signs of that). The Inn is very old and it shows. I'm not sure other than providing a breakfast,...

We love visiting Waterbury and the surrounding area. The stagecoach is a nice place to stay but be prepared if you get the wrong room in the summer. Upstairs, the big rooms have sky lights and become very bright around 4:30am. The bed is uncomfortable and you will have an awful sleep. I think i'll specifically request never staying in...
