If you are looking for a 5 Star hotel, this is not it. Even though the place is outdated, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. We stayed here on a Living Social Deal - 2 nights incl 1 dinner, 2 breakfasts, 1 picnic lunch (which was a sandwich, chips, cookies & fruit, they should incl mayo... More

We purchased a Living Social voucher for $169 which included 2 nights stay, 2 breakfasts, 1 picnic lunch, and 2 steak and lobster dinners. We definitely got our money's worth, but the hotel is very old, and could use some sprucing up. That said, we did enjoy ourselves, the staff are friendly, and the food in the dining area was... This place is run down and dirty. Mold in the shower, bugs coming up the drain, a old dirty washcloth left in the bathroom. Worse they had no liquor license, no bar or lounge that was open. Food OK, but silverware was dirty, artificial creamer served in container and left out. The only nice thing was the bonfire the first... More

We used a living social voucher so this was an amazingly cheap weekend away. Leaf peeping and Oktoberfest at Mt snow was the reason for the trip. The Lodge is outdated and shabby, but rooms and linens were clean, and staff friendly and helpful. Our voucher included dinner one night which was good- steak and shrimp cooked well in a... More

Okay, this place is a bit outdated and could use some TLC. However, the staff, namely Roger, went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. When the change machine was out of order and we wanted to play pool, Roger gave us the change out of his own pocket! If you're looking for a laid back place... More

We went on this trip to play golf for a couple of days and see the foliage. The deal seemed generous on Living Social so I went for it without reading the reviews. Upon entrance there were two empty Heineken six packs lying by the side of the stairs. There was a terribly musty odor in the entryway and that... More

We visited here because we bought a ridiculous Living Social Coupon that gave us two nights, two breakfasts,a lunch, and dinner for $59! The hosts went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. When there were problems, they fixed them immediately. All the food was fine. It is a small and easygoing place. Highly recommended.

I have now stayed at the Lodge three summers in a row. The first time was a spur of the moment purchase my boyfriend and I made on a Living Social deal, just like many other reviewers on here. We wanted a quick getaway and had never been to Dover before, but the cheap price of the voucher and the... More

We were looking for an affordable getaway for our honeymoon. The Living Social offer sounded like a lovely and affordable deal. We purchased two so we would, in essence have a week. We have had wonderful experiences with our previous two LS experiences so this time it was quite disheartening to have it come up short. The positives: The offer... More
