Stopped because it had a Vacancy sign out. So glad we did. Had a one-bedroom rental with fold out couch and full kitchen for the night. No air conditioning but large fans kept us cool all night. Charming community with lots of choices for meals.
We had been to this historic inn over 20 years ago so were hoping for a similar experience. Unfortunately, this hotel looked exactly the same as it did in 1992! And that is NOT a complement!

We love the town of Wilmington, Vermont. The Inn is in the center of town and has restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance. The Inn has an indoor pool and other recreational things to do. It is about a 15 minute drive to Mt....More
Stayed here for a ski weekend and it was comfortable with a king-suite. The living and dining area were fine but the toilet was off the kitchenette which was somewhat odd, but OK. It was also small. Pool, hot tub, sauna were all pretty good....More

We are staying at the crafts inn the first week in August. Any suggestions what to do and where to eat? I called to make sure I get air conditioning in the room. Because I was told it gets hot. Haven't heard back from the inn to confirm. I may follow up.

Hi, we stayed at the Inn the first week of May and we had rain all week. There are a few good restaurants not far from the Inn. We like Dot's restaurant across the street from the Inn. Home cooking, good breakfast, lunch and dinners. We visited The Skip Morrow "The Art of Humor" Gallery located at 30 Not-A-Road in Wilmington. It is worth seeing. Had quite a few laughs. Also, we visited Hildene, in Manchester, VT. That was also nice to see. The Inn has listing of restaurants and things to do and see. Have fun!
