Stopped because it had a Vacancy sign out. So glad we did. Had a one-bedroom rental with fold out couch and full kitchen for the night. No air conditioning but large fans kept us cool all night. Charming community with lots of choices for meals.

We had been to this historic inn over 20 years ago so were hoping for a similar experience. Unfortunately, this hotel looked exactly the same as it did in 1992! And that is NOT a complement! Others have commented on the dated kitchen, old appliances...More

I should preface this review by saying most of my family lived within 50 miles of this Inn at the time it was built in the 1890s. This was then a very elegant place, with huge porches the like we no longer see. I would...More

We are staying at the crafts inn the first week in August. Any suggestions what to do and where to eat? I called to make sure I get air conditioning in the room. Because I was told it gets hot. Haven't heard back from the inn to confirm. I may follow up.
