We stayed for one night in July as part of our honeymoon road trip. The Baywood bed and breakfast far exceeded all expectations! Our room overlooked the bay and had a huge balcony. The bed and breakfast is super clean and so lovely! The bathroom had a huge tub and separate shower. The bed was super comfy too! Mike's spinach...

My husband and I arrived a bit early on a Friday afternoon and we were greeted by Mike (the owner) with a nice welcome. He told us a bit about the B&B and the area and then showed us to our room, which was very nice and homey. Once we were settled in, we headed straight for the private beach...

Best bed and breakfast we stayed in over our four week holiday. The position of the B&B is just fab, right on the beach. Perfect for the beautiful sunsets. We stayed in the Lighthouse room. It has a great balcony and is large and very comfortable. There is coffee available outside the room, and it's great tasting coffee! Breakfasts are...

Amazing! The Baywood is located off a private road through the woods. It opens up to a well kept home with a private beach. The house has a large common area with access to the kitchen area. I stayed in the Lighthouse room which was very large and clean. The balcony overlooks the backyard with gorgeous water views. The bathroom...

We stayed overnight here for a quick getaway and it could not have been better. The private beach is peaceful, secluded, and beautiful--a great place to lounge around and take in the view, to swim, or go kayaking. There aren't hordes of people competing for space like most beaches, making this the perfect place to relax in the sun and/or...

My wife and I arrived and found that our room was ready, clean, and had been upgraded for no extra cost for our 3 night stay. The hosts were helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable about thing to do on the Eastern Shore and in Virginia Beach. The breakfast was delicious and the Baywood muffins are divine (go simply to try the...

What a beautiful place to unwind and reconnect!! Hospitality was wonderful, breakfast was yummy! Views fantastic. All in all a very pleasant surprise in a little known part of the Eastern Shore. We stayed in the Cape Charles room with our own balcony. We enjoyed rocking in chairs on the back porch. The landscaping was beautiful complete with Adirondack chairs...

This is a lovely B&B. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely view of the Bay. There is a small beach in front of the B&B. Large beach in Cape Charles. Right next door to a nature reserve. Close to the state park. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Plenty of sitting areas inside and outside to virtually ensure privacy from...

My wife and I stayed here for a night during our little road trip and this place is amazing. Reasonably priced, very clean and beautifully set up. The service is great and the whole place is serene and nicely maintained. Will definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Cape Charles or just driving through on the way somewhere else
