We spent Easter weekend at this Inn and simply loved every minute we were there. We had a room in the main house which was safe and secure. The daily breakfast was plenty to start the day and the weather was so nice, that we ate out on the main porch. We easily walked to the historic downtown mall. We...

Our suite, with separate living room was fantastic. Our hosts were wonderfully hospitable. Great wine, cheese, breakfast, and cookies. Perfect location. I highly recommend this charming and comfortable inn.

This inn was in a great location, a pleasant 5-minute walk to the downtown mall. Our room was spacious, nicely appointed, and the bed was comfortable. My only issues were with the TV in our room, which did not work, and the staff didn't know how to fix it. I was only planning to watch TV briefly every day, but...

South Street Inn is very conveniently located to the Downtown Mall. Quick and easy 5-6 minute walk. We liked that parking was available on site. We stayed in room 9, large, clean, comfortable. A suite really. Nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable enough and the pillows very good. We did not use either fireplace so can't comment on that. The...

Staff made our stay very pleasant. Downtown mall and restaurants are within walking distance. Our stay at the inn was split between a cottage suite and room. The Contiental Breakfast is good but I prefer a hot meal.

Katherine--and I hope I have her name correct--totally MADE our stay, She was so very pleasant, helpful and generous with her time and suggestions. I would return just to see her! Our room in the cottage was cozy (read, small) but the bathroom was nice and large. I agree with one of the other reviewers that the lock situation on...

I spent three nights in the secondary building, the Cottage, since other family were staying at the Inn as well. Caroline, who checked me in, is warm and delightful. The downtown location is incredibly convenient. The cookies, wine and cheese, and breakfast are as nice as other reviewers have said. Sadly, the room I was in on the first floor...

We have stayed there in past and enjoyed the location. This time we booked last minute while driving down the interstate. We got there in late evening after happy hour welcome time, but got upgraded to nicer room and invited to wine and cheese before the manager got put away. Staff is helpful with advice on what was new and...

I loved my stay here. Jill, the manager, was friendly and helpful. The inn is absolutely comfortable and beautiful. My room was great with a very nice bed, shower, and general amenities. I was within a 5 minute slow walk from the downtown mall with all of its restaurants. I will definitely stay again.

You get a warm welcome at this interesting inn - cookies, wine and cheese, and a library to eat and relax in. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms are interesting, and ours was quiet, in spite of being on the street side. Great location!

Thank Nancy C
