Easy to find, good location with decent parking. Check-in was friendly and helped with suggestions for shopping and dinner too. Although located on quite a busy street the hotel wasn't noisy. Decent room, comfy beds, good shower, free wifi, nice bar. Had drinks & dinner in the bar which was decent and inexpensive.

We were in town for a wedding and were supposed to start the long drive home right after the reception. However, we couldn't get our van to start and ended up leaving it at a mechanic and had to find a place to sleep that night. We were in the Econo Lodge North the night before but wanted a nicer...

The room was clean and nice. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is not included with the room, but we ate in the restaurant one morning. It was just ok. Staff was mostly nice, if not overly attentive. The waiter in the restaurant was very nice and helpful. No complaints really except that the pool cold and was not well stocked with towels.

We booked an event at the Holiday Inn Charlottesville - University Area this past month. Anna was our contact through the entire process and she was phenomenal! The event room we booked was exactly as they told us, and our team was able to easily set up chairs, tables, and supplies. We didn't have any problems with our booking or...

This hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to and from Charlottesville airport. The double-bed guest-room was very nice, with a sliding door that opened up to a slight stoop (very nice this time of year to leave it open and feel the cool, fall breeze). The beds were comfortable, with an ample amount, and variety, of firm and soft pillows. There...

My Mom and I stayed here for one night because I had an appointment at UVA Medical Center. I chose this for the close proximity. When we checked in, the lady was really nice and we were quickly checked in. About three hours later, I received a call in the room. When I answered, nobody was there. I immediately received...

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I will review your concern regarding someone calling your room. Certainly a call like that should not be coming from the Front Desk. We are also looking at a solution for the noise from doors closing. We hope you will return to give us another try.

As soon as we put on the AC, there was a horrible smell. My wife coughed all night and now is sick. It was late and we were tired, so we didn't change the room. Besides, I doubt another was available. In any event, the AC probably was system wide and would have been just as bad elsewhere in the...

I arrived at 1 a.m. Rachel at the front desk was most helpful, professional and quick to give me a room at a great rate that was better than what I found on the internet. Took an impromptu trip to Charlottesville. Woke up in the morning and decided to drive west. Once we hit Charlottesville we stopped. Thanks for your feedback. I am very sorry for your experience. While we usually do a very good job balancing conference activities and leisure guests. We did not sufficiently anticipate the size and hours of the conference's casual (non-meeting) activities. We will ensure to anticipate these activities and their impact on our valued hotel guests more accurately. We hope you...
