From the first moment you see a glimpse of the beautiful building that is the Inn at Monticello you know that you are about to experience a wonderful vacation. If the weather is kind you may even steel a few moments in one of the rocking chairs on the porch to reflect on the garden and hills beyond before venturing...

My daughter and I recently visited Charlottesville. Our stay was enhanced by our accommodations at the Inn at Monticello. We occupied the cottage ,which was charming and comfortable. The four poster bed with a crewelwork canopy ,hand embroidered by the owner's mother and the fireplace , added to the charm. To top it off, the bath had its own steam...

I loved staying at the Inn at Monticello. The Inn has five private rooms and a cottage. I stayed in the cottage which was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and immaculate. The innkeepers were extremely accommodating and hospitable. A full, delicious breakfast was served in the dining room every morning, and even the guests were pleasant and interesting to talk to. The...

We just enjoyed an absolutely wonderful, relaxing, romantic weekend at the Inn at Monticello. I don't believe there could be nicer Innk eepers than Bob and Carolyn! While the Inn does not accommodate regular weddings, we requested to have our very simple "wedding for two" there, and they were kind enough to not only allow the ceremony, but to make...

MY wife and I have done B&B's extensively over the years and this one ranks right with the best we have experienced. The breakfast each morning was gourmet all the day. The setting is wonderful, close in fact within walking distance (approx. 2 miles) via a nature trail to Monticello. Sat on the front porch rocking and watching herd of...

from the Jordan's - Beaufort SC This is the second time we've stayed at the Inn and both times were delightful. This time we stayed for three days. The Inn is a large property and mornings with coffee and evenings with a glass of wine sitting on the front porch provided the relaxation and country setting we were seeking. We...

My husband and I just returned from a 2-night stay at the Inn at Monticello. We had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer. The house and grounds are lovely and the innkeepers - Bob and Carolyn - were very welcoming. They cheerfully accommodated our request for a vegan breakfast as well as a number of other...

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend in Charlottesville earlier this month, and one of the highlights was staying at the Inn at Monticello. Bob and Carolyn were the most gracious hosts, offering us a glass of wine upon our arrival and providing great restaurant recommendations – they even have menus on hand to help make the decision easier....

We enjoyed a long weekend at the Inn at Monticello, and were so delighted by the Inn itself - it was part of a lovely weekend. When we arrived, we were greeted with a glassof Virginia wine, which helped to bring together all the guests for what became a ritual social hour or so before the evening started - it...
