Overall great stay. The staff was welcoming and attentive. We brought our dog and she was even welcomed. This place is right across from a WAWA and you can never go wrong with that...LOL. This hotel is close to the Greenbrier mall and all of the restaurants and stores there.

I had driven up to see some friends and check out my old haunts from when I used to live in the area. I saw this was available for $75.00 AAA discount before tax. This is one of the ok older, think late 90s, style Hampton hotels. The check in process was efficient. The guy checking me in was friendly....

Not what I typically see from Hampton Inn. And look to be at least 30 years old. The room was outdated. It wasn't unsanitary, just worn down. I would stay there again if money were tight, but would probably pay 10 or $15 more for a newer Hotel.

This Hampton Inn gave me a "Bereavement Rate" when a very dear friend passed away suddenly and we had to travel from Indiana to Virginia. We stayed four nights and the rate made it much more bearable! This Hotel was in excellent shape and was extremely clean. The food was great and the people very friendly! Definitely would stay here...

The staff was amazingly helpful, they went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I had an issue with my credit card as I wanted to switch to another card after we had already arrived, their staff took care of this without a hitch! The breakfast staff was the best, you thought...

The hotel itself was very nice and clean. We really liked the look of the room itself and the size of the room is decent. It is strange that some rooms have a single queen bed, because I am used to one bedroom rooms being king beds. That was the only complaint about the room itself as the bed was...

As I have come to expect from Hampton, this place was clean and the staff was very quick with anything asked of them. I like hearing a "good morning" or "good afternoon" and they delivered. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

The GM was not rude to this young man. The GM listened to his complaint and apologized and removed the charge for the night the guest stayed and refunded his card. My biggest complaint about the hotel is that it needs a facelift pretty bad. The hotel feels very old and dirty which is not a comfortable feeling. If you value a good quality sleep this is probably not the best place. The beds are very uncomfortable. The mattress is incredibly hard and the pillows are not a very good quality.

No one wants to find items from the previous guest in their "clean" room. The breakfast attendant stayed by your table the whole time talking and you could not plan your day. It is nice that he is so friendly, but some people might not want to have him at your table the whole time. May if it is busy...
