The past two years I've been to the Chincoteague Inn , about 16 times each year. I discovered this gem by accident but after checking in the first time I was treated like family by all of the staff. The rooms are quite nice, especially for the price. The staff bends over backwards to help make your stay as pleasant...

My wife and I stayed at the Chincoteague Inn for two days during our first trip to the island. We found it clean, well run, with comfortable grounds and a family feel well supported by an attentive and friendly staff. We stayed on the third floor and did indeed have the problem with hot water that other guests have noticed,...

Conveniently located at a crossroad between Main Street and Assateague’s Wildlife Refuge, the Chincoteague Inn is at the heart of the island. Walking distance to Main Street where delightful shops and restaurants await you, this Inn has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, including a pool! Cora and Barb were very friendly and quite helpful to me as a...

It's clean, basic and fine if you aren't spending much time there. No breakfast, but good price for what you get. However, there's a serious problem with water. Either you have no hot water or there is and you're in the shower the hot water comes in and out and burns you really bad. For two days of our stay...

I was on the second of 3 floors, a little bit of a schlep up the stairs with my stuff, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. They are renovating a bit, but it did not affect my stay. My room was clean and comfortable and plenty roomy. Basic cable, no premium stations, but the WiFi worked great. I...

Although it was a bit outdated it was an easy accommodation with our last minute travels and late night check in. The front desk was very helpful and the bed away from the window was the comfortable one . Impressed with the cleanliness. we'll be back

I took my wife and adult daughter to Chincoteague Island as a getaway for a weekend. We booked the hotel because it was the least expensive place on the island and we were on a budget. My first clue not to get my hopes up too high was that is was consistantly the only hotel on the island with a...

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights last month and fell in love with the island again! The Chincoteague Inn is a simple local hotel. The front desk people were very friendly. The room was a good size and equipped with a fridge which was handy. The location was convenient to everything.

Remember in college when you had no money? This is a great place for you. Also great for budget minded folks. Or smokers. Stayed one night on the way to OBX. Actually I slept in the car bc I couldn't sleep in the room. The facilities themselves are decent. It's the guests that stay here. My room smelled like smoke....
