The Red Lantern Inn was terrific. Wonderfully friendly hostess and a clean and well appointed place to stay. Thoughtfuly decorated and comfortable. Bed was firm and shower had lots of pressure. The Inn was easy to find and close to interesting venues such as Warm Springs and Hot Springs, VA. We had dinner at the Grist Mill Inn in Warm...

Convivial host Jo Ann Carter Gideons welcomes you into her beautifully renovated historic home -- truly a labor of love. The large kitchen at the Inn means you can prepare your own meals there - like a home away from home. Antiques and comfortable decor and furnishings provides a perfect refuge after a day or hiking to waterfalls (the spectacular...

I stumbled upon the town of Clifton Forge, VA when checking the train schedule to Lexington, VA, where I was meeting my husband for a few days of R&R. The train only goes to Clifton Forge, but it couldn't have been easier. I booked the Inn because it was affordable compared to many other places, and it was right off...

My brother and I stayed at the Inn for 5 nights had really enjoyed all of the amenities. The kitchen was very well furnished with everything you need. Loved the Keurig coffee maker. They had lots of food for breakfast which was nice. Two very nice family rooms with cable TV and wifi worked very well. The house has what...

It was great to get off the beaten path from the usual chain hotels. This Inn was spotless and very comfortable. I'm coming back. I stopped at the Virginia welcome center and they suggested this spot.

This is quaint older house fixed up as an Inn. there were twelve of us so we had the run of the place. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The house has an eclectic railroad motif that fits considering the museum across the street. (That sadly we missed.) The kitchen is nice and well equipped for a family like...

A great place to stay! Have stayed there many times since it has opened. Very comfortable and relaxing. The owner is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. Rooms are very comfortable! Several restaurants are within walking distance. Lots of things to see and do in the area. An art school within walking distance.

Came from California to attend a wedding, 14 of us rented out the entire B&B from Friday to Monday. There was plenty of space for people to hang out and talk without being crowded, comfy beds, thick towels. I loved drinking coffee in the sunroom In the morning. JoAnne provides a large variety of breakfast items and the kitchen is...
