My husband, adult children and young granddaughter surprised me with a family mini vacation and stay at the Thyme Inn, above the Thyme Market and Copper Fish. Charming, well sized rooms with realistic gas-log fireplace gently glowing when we arrived, decorated delightfully in styles invoking times past-- it was a perfect location to wander, explore and eat out. The rooms...

A beautiful gem of a hotel in charming Culpeper, Virginia. Loved everything about it! We will definitely return and we highly recommend this hotel and the sister restaurant, It's About Thyme. Beautiful European decor. Super friendly and accommodating staff.

Traveling on business, I stayed at Thyme in the Sage room, their smallest. Even at its size, it was big enough and would have been PERFECT if my husband had been with me. The room had the original wide plank hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, soaring ceilings, fine antiques, and a huge bathroom with whirlpool tub. The bed was comfortable...

If you are dining out in Culpeper and want to spend the night, this is a convenient location. We stayed in the sage room which is the smallest room. The bed was comfortable, although a little on the soft side. It was made up with nice linens. If you are planning to spend time in your room, be prepared to...

My wife and I stayed here recently while the kids were out of town on a cruise with their grandparents... We'd been through Culpepper before and had noted to self that it looked like a quaint little town worth spending a little time in. The hotel is, as the other reviewers have indicated, on the second floor of the Copper...

The Thyme Inn is directly upstairs from It's About Thyme restaurant and the Thyme Market, both great food destinations. My family (3 couples) stayed here last weekend to celebrate our birthdays. The rooms are pretty, all had a nice cozy gas fireplace, nice bathrooms and the one in front had a great balcony that looks out onto the main street....

My boyfriends family had a surprise birthday party at the Thyme Inn. We spent the night in one of their wonderfully appointed rooms. Every little detail was beautiful and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Great place to stay. Attentive servers and top notch hospitality. The food was some of the best I've had. Great attention to detail in every...

The room is beautiful. For $350 a night, I really don't think parading the public by the door to pack more diners upstairs is a sign of quality lodging. To leave the room we have to dodge three servers, bypass their wait station(which is set up two feet from our door), and diners traipsing the stairs like herds of goats...

I picked the Thyme Inn because of the fabulous location in the heart of downtown Culpeper, one of the loveliest little towns in the United States. The benefits of walking out of my room and having access to a deli and restaurants right below me was wonderful. The building and the decor is lovely but…there are some pitfalls to staying...

We traveled to partake in a company event being run at the "It's About Thyme Restaurant." We stayed at the "inn" at a recommendation. The rooms ware nicely appointed, but at almost $400 per night, I was expecting more. The rooms were billed as "Suites", but were just a room with a bathroom. There is little to no staff with...
