This hotel was always my favorite place to stay in this area. However, I've had some issues my past two visits. I travel here 1-2 times a year. The hallways were renovated which was nice. The refrigerator in the room had been replaced by a "chiller" which was warm inside. Maintenance informed me that in order to keep it cold...

I stayed here for two nights and three days to visit American University. Anywhere from 20-45 minutes from American University and Embassy Row, so keep that in mind. Had a few upscale malls nearby, which was nice to visit as well. Utilized valet parking, although $20/night, it was convenient for parking. Always had my car pulled up within 5-10 minutes...

We spent our Thanksgiving holiday weekend here and the location was great. Check-in was relatively quick and the staff was extremely nice. We got a great prepaid rate & I was able to use my SPG suite awards to upgrade to a suite. I had requested a microwave prior to our arrival & at check in but ended up calling...

This is a well run hotel. The staff were friendly,m and room pretty solid in all aspects. The location is not ideal. The hotel website says that several metro stations are within minutes from the hotel, and a shuttle bus will take you there, but I found it not so convenient. The metro stations are quite far, and the bus...

Nice hotel. Horrible buffet breakfast. Watch the check! They added an 18% gratuity and then suggested a tip amount. Very sneaky, unprofessional and should not be legal! We waited an awfully long time to check in as well. The hotel is very nice inside and the room was nice.

Beautiful hotel with super comfy beds, nice staff, and a quick starbucks to grab a drink and breakfast sandwich in the morning. Close to the Tyson's mall with a free shuttle there and the metro bus and train stop. One of the shuttle driver's driving made me sick, heavy on the gas, heavy on the break and drove way too...

We had a family event in the area and the host had booked rooms at a different property but as SPG Gold members, our first choice is always a Starwood property. The Westin has been recently renovated and they did a fabulous job. Highly recommend the Westin Tysons Corner.
