A small group of friends and I stopped at Stoney Meadow Inn B&B for a night while on a Blue Ridge cycling adventure, and it was everything we could have asked for. Janet is incredibly generous and beyond accommodating. We were welcomed with delicious treats, did laundry, roasted marshmallows on the back deck, slept very comfortably, then stuffed with a...

This is our second stay at this excellent B&B. Janet and George are the absolute best hosts you can find for a B&B. We feel like family whenever we visit. The home is spotless and comfortable and the guest area has its own screened in porch to enjoy the hummingbirds. The breakfast was fantastic with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits,...

We chose Stoney Meadow Inn as one of our stops as we drove the Blue Ridge Parkway from north to south in June 2015. From the moment we made contact with Janet we knew we were on to a winner. She advised us about activities in the area and especially music night at the Floyd Country Store on Friday nights....

Janet and George were the perfect hosts. We only stayed 1 night on our trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway, really wished we could have stayed longer. The guest suite was so comfortable and spotless. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, we enjoyed 3 quiet and peaceful nights and wonderful breakfasts with Janet and George. Their hospitality is the best -- It was like being at home without any chores. We cannot recall seeing so many stars in the night sky since our last visit to Big Sky, MT.

We were warned by our hosts that this B&B is 12 miles from Floyd for restaurants, so we had our main meal at a great little place called "Gerties Country Grill (?)" on Rt 56 off the "Ridge", where we also picked up Italian sandwiches to go for our evening meal; and this worked out perfectly. As mentioned in the...

This is a very nice home with a very comfortable guest suite on the main floor which they use as a B&B room. The suite has a large bed, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with double sinks and a Jacuzzi tub with separate shower, a sitting room, and even a screened porch. Lots of space! It is just a short...

I happened to find the Stoney Meadow Inn listing in the Blue Ridge Parkway Planner. We were on the parkway and needed to find a place to stay. I talked with Janet and she gave explicit directions. We hadn't eaten dinner and had few items in our cooler. We received a nice surprise of a veggie tray, cheese ball, and...

We feel very blessed to have been able to get a room for the night at the Stoney Meadow. My wife and I made a change in plans and decided to travel the Blue Ridge Parkway after dropping off 2 of our children at college in South Carolina. We have just started to stay in bed and breakfast locations in...

Very friendly and hospitable hosts welcomed us to their wonderful house near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Breakfasts were excellent and we were treated more like family guests than lodgers. We would definitely return.
