This place is quiet and has beautiful gardens, highly recommend a bath if you get one of the first floor rooms. Breakfast is amazing, all homemade and they will accommodate any special requests (my wife doesn't have dairy) and the people there are incredibly nice. If you want a nice retreat, I highly recommend this

My husband and I recently enjoyed a lovely overnight stay in the Ruby Hummer Room at the Old Massanutten Lodge and are so thankful to have found such a peaceful and relaxing bed & breakfast after a busy day touring with crowds. Margie and her family were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The very clean and...

We had always stayed in close to Harrisonburg when we visited our daughter who was going to JMU. Going for graduation we knew that we needed to book early and that even then we would be hard pressed to find a room especially one that was not double or triple the usual cost, and we were right. After trying many...

As soon as we arrived at the B&B, I knew I'd made the right decision. The house is located on a very large, lovely area of land at the end of a country road. Once we stepped inside, I was wowed by the large comfy great room that has two nice sitting areas and a gorgeous stone fireplace. Then Margie...

Wonderful rooms, great breakfast, kind innkeeper...truly a place of quiet and relaxation. Our room had a porch, a fireplace, and a Jacuzzi tub. The location is convenient for many great hikes on either side of the valley. We will be returning!

we had the most comfortable stay at the lodge! Margie is an excellent host, who gave us the most delicious breakfast in the morning! It is a beautiful drive up to the lodge. A very tasteful and sophisticated lodge which is kid friendly, cozy and comfortable! Will most definitely visit again soon!

If you want to simply drop off the earth for a few days and get away and be pampered in the beautiful blue ridge mountains, take a few days off and stay here. It is top-notch and a great relaxing experience. You have fabulous restaurants in Harrisonburg and Staunton close by and endless trails and drives on the parkway and...

We stayed for a long weekend here, and it was absolutely amazing. Margie was wonderful, made some great recommendations for local restaurants, and her breakfasts were amazing. Our room was comfortable and cozy, and we loved sitting out on the porch in the evening. Definitely a place we will recommend to friends, and we have already been looking forward to...

Found this place almost be accident, when looking for lodging near Skyline Drive, but enjoyed it so much that we're likely to make it a destination in the future. Peaceful, and the owner's hospitality made us feel right at home.

We stayed here because we were looking at land we purchased in Luray. All three rooms were beautifully decorated with their own theme and the host, Margie, treated us exceptionally well and had little details that really made a difference.
