Keswick, Va is a BEAUTIFUL area!!! Keswick Hall itself is quite beautiful. The golf course is currently being rebuilt and the view right now is of red clay. The rebuilding is going to take quite some time as well. We were not told this at the time of booking our stay. Besides that, the property is lovely. We were in...

I have been meaning to write this review for some time, but it kept slipping my mind. My husband and I went to Keswick Hall for the first time in January 2013. We live in the general area and were looking for a get-away without going too far. We had always wanted to visit Keswick so we decided to book....

It’s a wonderful place to stay, but the golf course is being rebuilt until 2014 and the views from the pool and dining room across the valley looks more like a strip-mine. The staff seems better informed since our last visit (which happened immediately after Orient-Express sold the property) but there is still something lacking. The front desk folks were...

It’s a great place to stay, with one or two quirky features. Beautiful location (great views – but bear in mind golf course is being rebuilt till 2014). Atmosphere very country club – not surprising as the Hall acts as a centre for a number of activities for the local country club. Rooms do vary – we had booked a...

Thank you for your review and recent stay. We were delighted that you enjoy your stay overall but do apologize that you experienced a room move and that reception was not available to give you a fond farewell, as they like to do. Thank you for sharing your room insights with future visitors. With 48 completely different rooms, we work...

Keswick Hall delivers what it promises: quiet comfort, a lovely setting, helpful, courteous staff. a range of activities. Our "superior" room (the lowest category) was on one of the front corners of the first floor, spacious and well furnished, with windows on two sides, a couch and a desk, large bathroom with all the luxury amenities. Great location for Monticello--just...

Our first visit to this lovely 48-room mansion on 600 acres of prime Virginia land sits this hotel and golf club a few miles form Charlottesville, VA. At the foot of the Blue Ridge mountains and set in the rolling hills of Virginia, one would never know Charlottesville was quite near. If Jefferson's Monticello or Madison's Montpelier Station or Monroe's...

Keswick Hall is more than a golf resort (since we are not golfers!) It is a beautiful destination when visiting Jefferson's home at Monticello and other Civil War battlefields. The best part about this place was the room. Spacious, comfortable, lots of room amenities made this a comfortable place to rest after long days of sightseeing. Dinner at the restaurant...
