My wife and I along with 3 other couples dined at their lovely restaurant recently on our first night there recently and the food was superb. We were greeted pleasantly and seated promptly in their main dining room at a table of eight. We all ordered wine from their wine list and then all carefully perused their interesting and varied...

We stayed here for my wife's birthday and arrived after some hiking in the nearby Shenandoah National Park. The Inn is lovely, our room was clean, quiet and very pretty. The hosts and servers were friendly and the chef was exceptional. Had Friday night dinner there and my wife said the sea scallops with risotto was the best she ever...

We booked our stay at Prospect Hill for our anniversary weekend. They didn't disappoint! Beautiful views, great privacy and wonderfully attentive staff. We stayed in the Sanco Pansy cabin and couldn't have been more pleased. We had a private drive so we could come and go as we pleased. Our mini fridge was stocked with complementary champagne and water from...

This inn is beautiful. People and service were amazing. We traveled here after visiting family in Ga. After being in Atlanta, the quiet and calm was just what we needed. I wish we would have stayed longer than 2 nights. We are already planning a visit back. I would have liked to explore the inn much more. The inn is...

We have visited the Inn at Prospect Hill for quite a few years now. During our visit this weekend, we experienced what is probably our best visit ever! We only came for one night - a quick get-a-way before school starts. While many inns require a two night minimum, we were able to get Miss Vashti's room for one night....

I started with the Baked Sea Scallops and Potatoes topped with Lobster Cream Sauce with Parmesan Crisps - it was really terrific. I followed up with the Flat Iron Steak with a Merlot Garlic Butter. Delicious as well. The Cup o' Silk - chocolate cake topped with chocolate ganache and the Vacherin - meringue with strawberry purée and ice cream...

As my wife and I drove down the winding lane bordered by huge boxwood, we knew we were in for a special treat and we were not disappointed. The plantation is beautiful. It is manicured, private, and unique. The outbuildings are well decorated and comfortable (no small feat for a property of this age)! There is a restaurant on site...

This is a beautiful plantation home with lots of outbuildings that serve as cottages for guests. Gorgeous setting , main house is stunning. We stayed in the Boys Cabin , original to the 1699 owner. Truly can feel the history in this small cabin! We loved the rustic, ambiance and knowing it was original added to the charm. It even...

My girlfriend and I decided to take a spur-of-the-moment trip after Christmas so I surprised her with a stay at Prospect Hill. This place is well off the beaten path but easily accessible from I-64. We were immediately charmed by the grounds and main house as we stepped back in time to our cottage. Breakfast was delivered daily to our...
