Terrific resort over 10 square miles of beautiful mountain forest. The Summit Hillside has glorious views from the condo decks. The condo itself is completely furnished with everything you will want. We visited for the first two weeks of May and the weather was very pleasant, mostly in the 70's with lots of sun. A little rain, but no problem....

Overall it was a very nice place. Spread out all over the mountain. Rooms and condos or quiet and well-stocked. The place is very clean. The shower heads we're set on borderline painful. There was no way to soften the water coming out of the shower kind of felt like needles. But overall it was a nice place.

Great family stay. The kids had a blast. The only thing we did not like is the Sauna/Whirlpool age rule (you have to be 16yrs old and it does not matter if you are younger but accompanied by a parent). Every where I have been with the kids (10,8,and6yrs old) they are always allowed as long as I or my...

Our family enjoyed our vacation at the Sunrise Summit, Massanutten. Spacious accommodations with full kitchen. We cooked many of our meals meals in our unit to save money. Food Lion & Walmart are close by to purchase groceries. Mid- March is a transitional time between the winter and spring seasons. The mid-March temperatures were warmer this year, so the skiing...

There are a lot of attractions that are within a short driving distance of the Summit. During the week we visited Monticello and Montpelier. There were two golf course at the resort and lots of other activities for the young and senior guests The facilities were nice and clean. The staff at the resort were very cordial..

My wife went and stayed at Massanutten Resort. We went at the end of October to see the fall colors. We drove to Shenandoah National Park, we went antique hunting in several of the nearby towns. There are caves to explore and they even provide bus tours to Washington DC once or twice during the week. The restaurants at the...

This was a lovely spot with beautiful scenery and deer wandering around. The room was great and the facilities good. The only drawback was that you had to drive everywhere which made going to the bar for a few drinks a no no. However, it was picturesque and the mountain air was heady.

Staff at check in and concierge were excellent especially Brittany! Room was adequate. Twin beds were only made for children I'm afraid. I did unplug the phones as someone else suggested and we did not have any early welcome calls. The zip line was fun but the chairlift was out of commission the day we planned to go to the...
