We spent one night there and really enjoyed it. We ate lunch and were very pleased with the freshness and careful preparation of our food. We found our room to be clean, the wifi working fine, and our view of the lake and the blooming plantings delightful. A deer came to the lake as we set outside at dusk. We...

We had visited the Inn several years ago and brought two other couples for a Blue Ridge Bike Trip. We knew the proprty is older, but always had good experience with the rooms being clean and comfortable. They have new owners, and they are continuing to offer a great room in a fantastic location for a fait price. The rooms...

Spent the night and had supper in their restaurant while on an excursion down the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very convenient location on the BRP. Quaint little place no food room on the pond. Pet friendly. We will be back.

We stayed one night on our way back to CT. My children loved feeding the fish that the owners gave us after dinner. The food was really good and the owners were wonderful. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area again.

Rooms very clean but worn around the edges, shabby and in need of upgrade. Manageress extremely helpful but too much needed attention e.g. heating in room inefficient. Area outside room spoilt by previous inconsiderate pet owners not cleaning up after their pets - was not new as when I cleared several, they were dry!! Only reserved here as appeared others...

The food and service was great, atmosphere was a lot of fun for us, plus we met some really nice people. Our room was very clean, comfortable beds, and the setting was so peaceful and pretty. Highly recommend the Woodberry Inn for a mountain get-away!

I had reservations for a chef's dinner at Chateau Morrisette, a lovely winery and restaurant on the Parkway for New Year's Eve and didn't want to drive after the five course meal with accompanying wine for each course. So I booked a room at the Woodbury, which had a special offer of $100 for a room, New Year's Eve party...

Fried pickles are really good. I did not stay but, I did eat at the restaurant. Worth travel to get there. I would have stay but, we met there for a small birthday party and had not planned to stay. I really wished we had.

I thought that this would be a nice place to stay based on tripadvisor reviews. The bed was comfortable and the heat worked. Not so sure about the cleaniness. See my photos of the room upon my arrival.

Was expecting more from reading the reviews. The place is very run down and I won't stay here again. The staff was very friendly but the room had mold on the ceiling above my bed and in the shower. Walls need painting, the carpet wasn't too bad but had visible stains. We decided not to eat here since being so...
