Nice bed and breakfast, about a mile from the Cedar Creek Battlefield. Breakfast is hearty and they had live music on both Friday and Saturday Nights. The only complaint was, I could not get a WiFI signal in my room.

We stayed at the Wayside Inn for the week-end on our Anniversary. It was perfect! It's the oldest working Inn in America! You can see how old it is around every corner of the Inn! Just beautiful! We stayed in the Victorian room, which had beautiful furnishings and was cozy. The Inn is nice and clean, which is a great concern to me.It...

In town for the Route 11 Yard Crawl ( a 43 mile yard sale down US route 11). One night stay. The Inn is an historic place dating back to before the Revolution. Supposedly, it is the oldest Inn in the U.S. It consists of a restaurant, an Irish bar as well as sleeping areas. We stayed in the Sir...

We were looking for affordable accommodation at short-notice and were really happy to have stumbled upon this lovely inn. We stayed at a super-cozy room with antique furniture. The proprietors were friendly and breakfast was delicious - with a vast variety of options to chose from. It's the ideal if you're passing through or are looking for peace and quietness.

I found this gem and highly recommend it. This inn is America's oldest continuous inn and has been in operation since about 1797. The innkeepers are gracious and accommodating, the sleeping rooms are pretty much original with update bedding and bathrooms. There are great antiques in the common areas and the sleeping rooms. Finally there is a tavern on property...

My travel pal and I needed a short-notice, affordable room on our cross-country road trip, and had little idea what a gem we'd booked until we arrived. What a treat to discover the oldest continuously operating inn in the country, packed with antiques, art, curiosities, and stories, in all its crooked-angle glory. No extra charge for ghosts (we were assured...

This place is amazing! Due to the circumstances of my work, I was not able to stay here (it was not on the list of places I could book) but I was able to have an absolutely lovely meal on 6/7/2016. The proprietors were quite gracious and the food was wonderful. I've told my husband we need to stay here...

We stayed here for our son & daughter in law"s wedding. We were so delighted by the beauty, history and friendliness of the owners and staff. We had a great room, comfortable and simply beautiful. They have a restaurant and the food and service exceeded our expectations. We only stayed for the weekend, but could not have had a more...

This inn is fascinating due to its age, & its lovely period decor. Our stay was very comfortable, and the innkeepers made us feel right at home. The breakfast included in the price is hearty & delicious. It is easy to find & conveniently located for visiting the many attractions in the area

This historic inn fascinated me with its rooms and wings sprouted like a weed. It's filled with antiques and lots of old wood paneling. It has multiple common rooms and a very spacious dining room and tavern (not open when we were there). We were there mid week when the inn was pretty empty so I was able to see...
