Choose this hotel for our visit to the Virginia Safari Park, which is excellent BTW, and its proximity to the Natural Bridge and Caverns. The outside of the Hotel, Lobby, and Common areas seemed very nice and well kept but the Room was in Poor Condition. Torn curtains, stained walls, old comforter, damaged furniture, 19" Tube TV (Really in 2017!,...

This hotel has the potential to be very good. Its an older hotel but maintained well. My wife and I stayed one night. The room was clean and in good shape. Bathroom looks to have been recently remodeled. The beds are adequate. The pillows were poor and kind of flat. Add new pillows and this would help. In addition there...

I had high hopes for our one-night stay in the historic Natural Bridge Hotel. Even though the hotel itself looks inviting and the Red Fox Tavern was welcoming and served good food and drink, the room was a real disappointment. It was in the annex, a connected add-on to the main hotel and was not even worth the discounted Expedia...

Stayed in a Veranda room with a view of the mountains. Great location and that is only positive! Room old and stale. Bathroom dated, no outlet in bathroom, toilet seat falling off, floor looked mopped but not clean, dirt caked into corners. Bed was not comfortable. I got what I paid for. Evening buffet okay. Staff pleasant but not friendly.

The hotel is nestled in the mountains about 15 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hotel itself is beautiful, the lobby elegant. I booked online and was told we would have a private balcony overlooking the mountains. The front desk lady said that was misleading. We had a shared veranda overlooking the parking lot. The room was clean, the...

This is a very pretty hotel and we enjoyed staying here for the most part. That being said it is in need of MAJOR updates. Peeling paint, worn carpet, etc. The staff was pretty friendly. It was a young staff that still needed training on how to be attentive and helpful. The walk out balcony with two chairs could have...

The Veranda room we had was old, stale smelling, and dated. There was no toilet paper or tissues which makes me question if the room was even cleaned. The shower and bathroom were large but the shower needs to be cleaned or refinished. There is a pedestal sink in the bathroom so no vanity to put toiletries on. The bedding...

My wife and I went to the seafood buffet. It was a pretty good buffet and had some very delicious items on it. It featured all you can eat crab legs and I saw a lot of people with a lot of crap legs. My wife ordered off the menu. She had a steak and salad. She said she enjoyed...

Upon Arrival the lobby was deserted and dark, when a person arrived at the check in desk after wondering around looking for someone, I was told I had no reservation and had to go to my car to get a copy of the email to show the conformation and date I was told well it's a good thing were are...

Our first time staying here, will surely go back. Nice room, comfortable beds, great Friday night buffet. Got to enjoy the scenery and take the shuttle down to the bridge. Very beautiful and peaceful especially once the traffic dies down. However, some of the front desk and wait staff were not very welcoming.
