I came here with family for the weekend. The hotel is historic and it's very clear that the staff really cares about it. I was in room 309 on the third floor of the hotel. The room is beautiful. There's a fridge and microwave right outside the room in the hallway. This room was obviously redone recently and it really...

This was probably the place to go 20-30 years ago. But not now. Peeling paint everywhere. No internet in the cottages. Food was only average at best. I travel 60 plus days a year and this is probably the worst motel I have been in this year.

Stayed over on an October Sunday evening with no reservations made. Our third floor room was clean, comfortable and quiet with one caveat: Morning coffee drinkers beware! There are no room amenities. Coffee and fixings are available in the lobby however. This hotel is minutes away from the caverns which we enjoyed the following day and the caverns are only...

Looking for a nice, romantic, relaxing getaway? This is not the place to stay. The photos on the website are not at all what the hotel looks like, at least the standard rooms. I am not one for writing reviews, but after this past weekend, I felt it was necessary. We paid $265 for the weekend, when in reality the...

The hotel has recently been renovated and rooms are large and light, linens are comfy and the dining room and Tavern look great. Plan to walk the Natural Bridge and see the Monican Native American Village exhibit. 4 miles away is a wonderful Asian Pear Farm called Virginia Gold Orchard and you'll want to take a tour and buy a...

Spent a few days her recently with my family. Wanted something away from the electronic devises. Loved the cabins. The nature trails were gorgeous. The Natural guide Brandon was so intersting to listen to as he explained the outdoors to my kids. He sure does love what he does. The lady at the gift shop, Shana! Was so friendly. Loved...

My husband were getting away for a night and up to see the fall colors. We were SO disappointed in our room. This is an historic hotel and we expected it to meet the class of such. However what we got was a hotel room that was way below that standard. The bed had a board above it, I guess...

We found this hotel by accident and were delightfully surprised from check-in to check-out. The women who were at the desk were efficient and friendly. There was complimentary coffee (both regular and decaf) available in the lobby. Our room was spacious and the soap and shampoo were lovely. (Shower spray was almost stinging...but o.k.). Sheets lovely. Went to happy hour...

We have stayed several times and every time we cannot wait to come back! The rooms are fresh ,spacious and clean. The lobby is large and inviting. The staff is helpful and courteous. The restaurant is amazing for breakfast and dinner ! We even had incredible live entertainment on a Thuraday night which was an unexpected excellent surprise! We will...

Traveling between Vermont and Western Florida, we web searched for an interesting stop over. Since we had dogs with us, we were relegated to the "cottages". Disrepair, peeling paint, barely functional bathroom, poorly fitting sheets, fogged up windows, 50 year old fuzzy TV, and STINKBUGS everywhere including in the beds! The only good thing was a huge field right in...
