We only stayed here for one night All the hotel staff encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are all very quiet and comfortable. Our room was close to reception so there was only a short walk to the hotel. The tv in the room wasn't working but the boys got it done very quickly.

A bit of room design originality slightly spoilt by two pairs of filthy flip flops provided to make the tiled bathroom floor less harsh. I have seen a few odd things but two staff members were tasked buffing the drive with a floor polisher and a running hose. I did brave the pool which quite cold as there is a...

Hotel Pyin Oo Lwin felt like a contradiction. On the one hand, rooms were rather stylish, slightly Japanese-feeling wooden cabins laid out like its own residential street. Beds were comfortable, the room temperature could be well-controlled and the in-house laundry service was quick and efficient. On the other hand, there were quite a lot of problems. - The breakfast was...

We spent 2 nights here. The room was very large and well appointed although the tv didn't work. It had a small seating area outside which was lovely. Barking dogs were a problem the first night but they either moved to a different area the next night or I was so tired I slept through them! We had an amenity...

Although beautiful rooms, we didn't enjoy our stay as it was very cold as unable to heat room (we were told the fire couldn't be lit). Breakfast was worst we had while in Myanmar with lukewarm or cold food. The hotel looks good, but not worth the money. Also, something needs to be done about the local dogs barking, worst...

Our 'room' was a villa - well appointed - with a large seating area. Absolutely quiet - maybe because the adjoining villa was empty - but a good nights sleep (only an overnight stay). The staff were polite but not great communicators. Breakfast was a little dis-organised and the layout did not aid efficiency. However, the hotel was great for...

I was booked into this hotel and upon check-in, one would find quite a few quaint display reminiscent of the colonial days. From clocks to telephone booth. The villa was quite impressive with a veranda which one could enjoy the cool weather. The room was large with a walk-in wardrobe and attached bathroom with large bath tub. Another point of...

Set in large grounds (you are taken to your room by a golf buggy) the bungalows are very spacious and very luxurious. The restaurant is less impressive. In fact the food is dull. Staff very pleasant though. Architecture-wise the town centre is no great shakes but if you want to get a feel of what the summer capital of British...

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Basics work well (hot water, heating during cold nights), staff is nice, Wifi working more or less in rooms but rather well in the hotel lobby. Breakfast has a variety of choices (both Asian and Western) but is nothing special, fruit juices e.g. are made with powder (or similar but not freshly pressed...

As always in Myanmar the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very large but we spent ten minutes trying to find light switches! There was a big table with tea, coffee, kettle, glasses etc. but nowhere to plug in the kettle. We had to call someone who eventually found a suitable socket on the floor by the bed!...
