The former Candicraig Hotel (British Raj Chummery) has closed and undergoing renovation. You may visit the hotel and we were fortunate to have one of the developers walk us around explaining his vision of renovating the original structure while adding more modern in the back....More

We definitely agree with the 'haunted house' description. It's a gorgeous building with a well kept garden, but inside the hotel was virtually empty and nothing has been done to improve it for decades. Go to visit if you stay in Pyin Oo Lwin, but...More
