We stayed there for 2 nights, just coming from Sea View Resort, which is the resort next door. (and which we really would recommend) On Siam Bay Resort, the Bungalows are old and dirty. The bedroom is okay apart from the rockhard bed, and the fact it's 2 twinbeds pushed together. It has small holes in the roof of the...

We stayed at family bunglow. The accomodation is very common, structure is old, (though new structures are available but smaller space) with waterlogged bath area in the toilet. Simming pool is good but area around needs re-decoration. Sea beach is good offers a long walk in the ocean and can even walk to Ko Man Nai during low tide. But...

When we first arrived we were given a completely different room to what we had booked and were willing to accept the error until we noticed 2 bathroom tiles missing and on inspection another fell off in my hand. When we challenged this and asked for the correct room type, we were actually told that we could move to the...

You know how it is if you find a good hotel year after year so why bother changing. I have been coming here for ten plus years bringing friends to sample the no frills quietness of this place. Good food, attentive staff, great pool and a private beach. The breakfast is good and they cook eggs to order plus cereals...

Great locality if you after a quiet, out of the way beach in a lovely setting. A bungalow on the beach was very nice, especially when taking dips in the ocean and watching the sunsets. The resort has a very laid back approach and is not the place if after luxury and 4 star service. Appears more designed for easy...

Beautiful location - shame about the bungalows. We had one on the left as you go down the hill. They are supposed to be sea front I believe, and to be fair aren't all that far away about thirty yards. We were greeted by patio furniture that looked as if it had washed up on the beach a few decades...

I love Siam Bay! I have been back many times. I love the private beach and the 2 swimming pools, as well as the beautiful views. The staff are friendly and the resort itself is nice. I don't like the ants, but hey, this is Thailand, right? You have to expect a few bugs. Overall this is a great resort...

I don't know where to begin. This hotel lacks a warm and welcoming atmosphere. When we arrived to be told our hut was still being painted the staff laughed and did not help us with our bags at all. We had to sit in the bar for two hours waiting as they finished painting our hut. The staff are unhelpful...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Siam Bay Resort is a last quiet family resort on Koh Chang's beautiful west coast. Being located at the very end of Kai Bae beach, there are no clubs or beach bars with loud thumping music to keep you awake, there are no outsiders that just walk in and squat all the best places on the beach or next to the pool, there is no traffic noise: it is just you, your loved ones, an extremely safe beach and lots and lots of peace and quiet. ... more   less

“We had the best what was possible - hillside bungalow with an amazing view! It's located above the beach line, so you need to climb a bit, but we did not mind it at all :-) Air conditioner is in the room and this helps to cool down after busy adventure days :-)”
