We stayed at another hotel for the first 4 nights in Granada, but they didn't have room for our final night so we had to find an alternate. Last minute booking meant we ended up here - hotel is ok, with decent location, but definitely wouldn't be our first choice. Rooms are very loud, stairs and walkways are very noisy...

The Building is amazingly beautiful - colonial style at it's best! The room (4 Person room) was also very nice with a very big bathroom. For breakfast we had different optional to choose from the day before, which were all good but not extraordinary. Staff was very friendly and helpful. As it is a old Building I didn't have good...

The positive things( nice female workers, comfortable bed, and good breakfast), do not even come close to out-waying the negatives about this place. The room that we had was like a sauna, in spite of having 2 fans. There was AC available, but it was an extra $10.00 a day. It was actually cooler outside the room than inside. The...

We wanted to stay at one place for 4 nights but couldn't book all our nights in only one place because we were visiting Granada during the Holidays and we were booking our hotels two weeks before the trip, most hotels were completely booked and so, we ended up staying at this hotel, a crazy man's house (airbnb) and at...

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Antigua very much. The hotel staff was very friendly, the hotel felt quite secure, and the room was lovely and huge. The breakfasts were excellent and filling, and we really appreciated that they asked for our breakfast order among 4 choices the night before. The only things keeping me from giving it 5 stars...

Casa Antigua is a lovely hotel on walking distance from everything you want to see in Granada. They picked us up from the airport in Managua and every morning we had a nice Nicaraguan breakfast in the lovely courtyard. The room we had was very small, but the bed was nice and so was the interior. The room and bathroom...

A double door in an unbroken row of doors along a unpresuming street. But once inside you find a lovely garden courtyard and a very attentive staff. The room, #2, was large and airy. Bay window overlooking the courtyard let in lots of light. Hardwood floor and ceiling with cheerful yellow walls. Very clean. AC quiet and efficient. Quality linen...

The hotel is basic but definitely met what we were looking for which was an inexpensive place to spend our night. And it has the advantage of being relatively close to the city center but was quiet. The disappointing part was the open-air courtyard. The tables and chairs were dirty. By the nature of an outdoor area, I guess you...

We had a room upstairs which overlooked the garden court yard. Such a nice colonial setting. Staff don't speak English but we got there. Only a 5-7 min walk to park central. You'll want to be out/away from the hustle (trust me) and you'll still be within a stone throw if you want to be amongst it at some stage.

Casa Antigua was recommended to us by our favourite hotel in Leon. I can definitely recommend it for people who are looking for good accommodation at a really good price. This colonial home converted to hotel has a very large central courtyard that is very comfortable. Our 2 rooms were great. We had everything we needed: A/C, good beds, WIFI,...
