First of all, I cannot give enough praises to the owner, Gerry. He is the most hospitable person I have ever met during my travels. He sits down with you with a map indicating all points of interests, suggests day trips, where.to eat. He is always there to help. The rooms are clean , you can choose between a fan or...

My boyfriend and stayed with Jerry at casa del agua. He was very hospitable, helpful, fun and friendly! The place itself is gorgeous and has such a warm welcoming feel - we stayed in the balcony room and it was beautiful. The only reason we didn't rate it higher is the bed (both of them) was sooo uncomfortable - you...

First of all, gerry is a great host. He gave good advice on what to see and do in granada, and provided context for things that are troubling to North Americans (and perhaps others) such as stray dogs and begging kids. The location can't be beat, just one block from the main square. The hotel is kept very clean though...

We loved Casa del Agua. Gerry is an attentive host & always available to give advice. We enjoyed being able to have our first cup of coffee here upon waking up, as well as cereal if we so wanted. The pool was great to slip into after a hot afternoon out, and a great informal meeting place, as was the...

I stayed at Casa del Agua for three days in March 2013 and loved it so much that I planned my whole trip to Nicaragua around staying here again. A swimming pool in the living room, ice in the freezer, free breakfast every day (coffee, tea, cereal, milk), a fully stocked kitchen to use, a location just off the main...

We found this place on the internet and based on the reviews gave it a try. It is very well located and Gerry and his family were wonderful. Each room is just off the pool area and although we didn't use the kitchen it was well set up and stocked. Gerry gave us lot of ideas of places to eat...

Great place in the city centre, refreshing pool, safe, quiet, Gerry was a great host with excellent recommendations. He went above and beyond, organizing day trips and sending us a package we forgot when we left! Hector the driver also did a great job.

Mixed reviews about this place. The location was amazing, being less than 30 seconds away from Parc Central. It was also very safe place, and was quiet at night which we liked too. The pool in the lobby was great to cool off in, and was very clean. The kitchen is nice to have as well. In our room, the...
