We really enjoyed staying at this Hotel. Spacious room, nice staff, good breakfast, pretty hotel! It was quiet and has an excellent location near the center of town. We highly recommend staying there.

Very clean hotel and lots of old Spanish colonial charm. Beautiful wood antique pieces complement the architecture, as do the cheerful wall colors. Super friendly and accommodating staff; they will gladly arrange tours and transportation. Excellent breakfast choices, and served hot. Maria, the manager, speaks very good English and will be ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible....

We wanted to go to Granada for Semana Santa, and after two hotels cancelled our reservation due to overbooking Hotels.com upgraded us to Casa del Consulado. After such a frustrating experience, we couldn't have been more grateful for our stay here. We stayed in one of the suites and were easily able to add another bed for three people to...

We stayed here 2 nights during semana santa and liked it. A little outdated the bathrooms but decent. Its a quiet place to stay with a very central location. The staff we are very friendly. The pool is a nice extra after a long day of waljing around.

My son and I stayed at the hotel for two nights and while we enjoyed the architecture, the room felt like a holding cell. It lacks windows to the street and only had a small opening to the courtyard. Be aware of parking guy in front wearing an orange vest, he will go through your belongings if you leave your...

Dear Miss S. Thank you very much for your opinion, we really appreciate it to force us to be a better hotel. First of all regarding the guy on the street, is some kind of traffic police helper (not policeman). We just knew about this incident and I just called to the police station and they assured me that this...

My family spent 4 days at Hotel Casa del Consulado. The building was so beautiful! The staff began taking care of our needs before we arrived by sending a car to pick us up at the Costa Rican border. They will even arrange tours for you! The room was filled with Colonial style furnishings and quite comfortable. The hotel has...

In summary: Beautiful, clean, friendly and quick staff, quiet I don't often leave reviews but this place really deserves one. It's a true jewel in Granada - beautiful setting in colonial style, extremely clean (big) rooms, friendly staff always around and ready to help (not like at other places in Nicaragua where you wait hours for your food etc.). It's...

We saw this hotel while we were on the Colonial Home Tour and it looked amazing so, after our trip to Ometepe, we decided to come back to Granada for a couple of days and book in. The hotel is spectular. It's an old colonial style hotel that is very colourful with amazing seating areas around the entire property. We...

Beautiful old house-turned-hotel in the heart of Granada, just blocks from the Parque Central and the famous yellow church, which you can see from the top floor rooms. Lots of dark carved wood, colorful walls, bougainvillea, birds. While we were there (February) it was very quiet. I loved all of the cool sitting areas and the pool, which we often...
