I hadn't been to Granada before so I had originally booked a place on line. I very quickly realized that I wanted something a lot better. I found the perfect place to enjoy my time in this old colonial city. I walked in off the street and asked for a room for my 10 day stay. they didn't think that...

Did not stay for lodging, but on our last day in Nicaragua my spouse & I wanted to use up our remaining cordobas and stopped for breakfast at Hotel Alhambra. Our meal was very basic and priced decently, but the hotel tacked on additional taxes and service fees, causing us to be short on our bill by 16 cordobas ($0.54...

Large room, clean and very tasty decorated, with large bath, equipped with refrigerator and efficient air conditioning. Elegant linens, perfect wi-fi... And people really willing to help. Not many Nick's speaks English, so the cooperation in communication, involving all around is critical. They arranged our early departure by Trans Nica to the airport in Liberia Costa Rica. Thanks a lot!

I stayed here for 4 days and was very pleased, the service, breakfast on the patio, chatting with Juan and the good vibe of the space - Walking around this old city and coming back to my room was really a great experience - I can't say enough nice things about the place, my room and the good kind people...

The hotel is beautiful. nice front porch that spans the front of the building. Right on the square. Can walk to everything. Classic hotel that has been refubrished. Still has the old fashioned rooms. Only downside is that there is no elevator.

The hotel and courtyard are beautiful. Central to everything, making it the best location in town, just across the street from the Central Park. The staff is very friendly and reliable. The rooms are clean with good AC, antique furniture and comfortable bed. It has a great colonial ambience.

We arrived very early Mon (2 am) and stayed four nights. Delightful hotel, staff very friendly - food in restaurant delicious for breakfast. It was a perfect base for our excursions out and about. Room cooled down quickly, shower was great. Drinking water available.
