The great customer service started even before I arrived. I had a few requests of a personal nature and Marlin and Arlen were more than happy to help me. The hotel had more of a cozy home atmosphere and I loved it! The grounds are...More
Stayed in this hotel at beginning and end of 3 weeks of travelling in nicaragua; 2 nights each time. Great location: not too close to centre but within easy walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. The airport pick up from Managua was really welcome after...More
I thoroughly enjoyed my my two nights at the Hotel Kekoldi. I traveled alone and found the location to be close to lots of sites in the town. Also, when I asked for help finding a tour, they helped me arrange a horse drawn carriage...More
We stayed 3 separate nights during our trip to Nicaragua, between travelling to other locations. We liked Kekoldi because it was quiet, away from the main tourist area but close enough to walk, close to the bus station and car rental, with comfortable, clean rooms...More
Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Location is good (3 blocks away from the central park and church) if you don't mind a little walk. It's quiet in the area, room was sufficient for my friend and I, bathroom is also spacious (room 5)....More

Hi, there were small children staying when we were there. Obviously they were well supervised but pool is fine to play in with a small child and there is plenty of outside circulation space. it doesn't have play equipment but there are flowers to look at and birds come into the garden.
It is a family run hotel and they will do their best to help you.
They do arrange tours but we didn't take one.
Other companies in town also arrange tours, agian we were travelling on and so didn't actually use them.
For beach, lake beach is very accessible, it takes a bit longer to reach the coast and you might want to stay over if you head west. Sea on west coast is not good for small children as swell is too strong.
Hope this helps and have a great trip!
