We stayed at Hotel Dario for 3 nights on the second leg of our journey through Nica. This was our second visit to Granada. Made from an old Spanish style mansion, the hotel is elegant and beautiful. It is all dark wood, tile, and stucco, with an interior courtyard full of flowers and birds, a small swimming pool, high ceilings...

We have large groups that come to Nicaragua and on our free days in Granada, we seek out decent places to dine together - for our final night, we try to find a place that is nicer but still priced OK as we are on a budget. Hotel Dario is just that place! They offer a few different price points...

Although our room was a little dated, I love this hotel. Typical colonial feeling right in the heart of Granada. It is on the Main Street where restaurants and shops are located so the rooms facing the street can be a little noisy....however, having a Juliette balcony was worth it. Anyway, we were so tired, the noise didn't bother us....

This is a beautiful hotel on the main walking area for bars, restaurants and boutiques, just 4 blocks up from the beach. Rooms are small but nicely done, nice pool and great breakfast buffet and restaurant. Try the whole Red Snapper, excellently cooked and served.

This hotel is lovely! Courtyards are lush and impeccably maintained. The Colonial design and color scheme is very nice. Staff is friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. The restaurant is excellent for both included breakfast and dinner. The pool is tiny but a nice respite from hot and dusty touring (my 10 year old loves!) The rooms are serviceable by...

My husband and I ventured to Granada for the day, and we were so pleased to stay at Hotel Dario. It's in the middle of a bunch of churches, architecture, food and an easy walk to Lake Nicaragua. The staff was accommodating, and the steak and beans at lunch was our best meal! Try the grilled cheese at breakfast too....

This hotel is a real gem in granada. Although it is not resort luxury (the pool is somewhat small and not really one for lounging), I doubt you will want to be doing that in this city anyways! There is so much to do and see we were hardly in the room, but the room was fantastic. Large and luxurious....

We stayed here for 3 nights... Hotel Dario is in the heart of Granada! From the moment we walked in I fell in love with the building, the fountain, the courtyards with the flowers! The room was clean and had everything you needed while away from home. Wifi was shakey from time to time. It is free so you can't...

From the moment I arrived to participate in the International Poetry Festival in Granada, the staff at this hotel made me feel at home. From giving me directions to the festival's venues to preparing delicious breakfast meals, I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The room had a view of the central courtyard with a small fountain and...
